This lamp is horrible. It does not have the squirrel accents on the base, ( or mine did not) the entire miiror/cheap reproduction of glass assembly can be bent as if molding clay. Plus, just trying to get the screws to attach to the base was impossible. I should have returned it..Caution.

There was a scratch on the back of the mirror which shows when lit. Had to touch it up w/some paint. There were no squirrels or birds on the base. The picture show the critters but you don't get what is pictured. Was if gift and was somewhat disappointing to recipient but accepted it anyway.

The lamp itself was great.. Was a bit disappointed in the quality of the mirror and how it was affixed to the lamp.

This piece is MUCH larger than I anticipated! It is very pretty, but plan for space (it's tall). I had to visit two stores locally to find the correct voltage bulb (does not come with one). The mirror seems a tad dirty in a couple of small spots, even with multiple cleanings, but otherwise this is a really nice piece. Very good packaging!
