The colors are beauitful, I thought it would be fragile and it actually is made very well. I just love having it on at night because of all the colors. You will love it.

I've had mine for several months now and I love it. The colors are vivid and it gives off just the right amount of light in my living room. As a dragonfly lover this is definitely the lamp for me.

I received my order very quickly. The lamp looks almost like the picture. Towards the bottom of the shade in the glass there are small flecks of other colors that definitely don't belong there. I take it as a sign of poor workmanship or manufacturing, I'm not sure which is the case. As far as the price is concerned this lamp was just about the average price that you can buy one for at other places. If I wasn't disabled I would return the lamp and try for another one without the flecks in the glass. Oh well.
I've had this lamp for about 5 years now and absolutely love it - zero problems - looks like I just purchased it. Torchiere is very well made with a nice heavy base - a real shipping bargain considering the weight. Colors are vibrant and the light it provides is perfect - soft light that is not overbearing but subtle and soothing. Not sure if the shade is actually glass but it really doesn't matter as gorgeous as this lamp is for the price. Could not be happier with my purchase.
