This lamp was super easy to set up (and I'm usually instructions-challenged). It is a real eye-catcher, and when lit, the stained glass colors are amazing. What's really nice about this is that it isn't so high that it stands out like a torchiere, and the lamp itself is adjustable to several positions. I started out using a 60-watt bulb but quickly changed to a 25-watt. Otherwise, it's just too bright to sit under. I don't see how this lamp could disappoint anyone. But beware: the colors you see online are not quite true. The orange online is actually red, and where the wings look rather lavender, they're really white with black lines. Also, where it looks yellow (on my computer, anyway), the color is actually orange. Gorgeous!

this lamp is great, pefect height and the adjustable shade is great. Added bonus I didn't expect.

I have Overstock tiffany lamps, let's see 5 in the living room / piano studio alone, and now two in the masterbedroom.....all work great and get constant comments....and compliment stainglass windows in the masterbedroom....if nothing else had ever come from Overstock (O')....and much has -- of great quality....these tiffany lamps would be enough to strongly recommend O' to my friends and family...thanks O'. Oh yes....especially like the Dragonfly wings....they seem so Real.

Got this for a bedside lamp. A little top heavy, but just be careful. A great thing I did was-- the foot switch-- I took Velcro and placed it on the back of my head broad-out of sight and you don't have to get out of bed to turn off or on. Love the look and bright colors

My grandmother is 85, has glaucoma and needed a reading lamp. It took 10 minutes to put together and fits perfectly over her reading spot. This was not in the description but the on/off switch it a push button located on the wire; this feature is excellent because she does not have to stand up to turn off/on the light. Above all else, it is beautiful, unique, and matches her two other Tiffany-style lamps. She is using a 60 watt energy saving bulb and it works for for her.

The lamp looks out of proportion because the shade is too small for the thickness of the poll. The pieces in the shade look and feel like plastic, not glass.

These are beautiful, yes. I bought two at different times. In the course of moving, they broke easily. The place where the neck metal is welded onto the main stand is *very fragile* as it turns out. A welder told me that the metal isn't of a repairable quality. So I have two gorgeous shades and no bases. If you move, be very careful. I have no clue what I'm going to do with mine and don't have the heart to throw the shades away.

I was very pleased and impressed with this product. I have received numerous co compliments on the lamp and it looks really nice next to our loveseat. I now have ample lighting when I'm knitting or reading. Love, love, it.

I just talked with one of the associate of Overstock.com. I complained that the shade suddenly dropped after two years, unable to hang on the circular brackets, which were holding it with the top part of the shade. The top part was the shade is loose open and dripped because of the weight, we guess. I do not think only after two years that it was a normal lasting life of this kind of lamp. But, the person called me said that it was just too bad after one-month warranty a long way passed. This is surely a defect merchandise. She told me to buy it again if I like it!!! We always liked Overstock merchandise not only for the price but the qualiy, but now we learned that we had to be careful about their quality.

Bought this lamp to place beside chair for reading. Works great as a reading lamp. Solid base with a good weight. Good colors.

not only is the shade part beautiful bit the entire setting looks great and gives the entire lamp a very origional feel.Could easily be used in almost any room. The only thing I was disappointed was the size of the shade. I thought it looked bigger from the picture/

I have had this for over 1 year, the pic does it no justice. The colors are deeper and richer than pictured! It is a timeless buy. It is sturdy and made well. I have it on hardwood floors and have moved it several locations and it does balance well-no issues. Just and elegant lamp. It is not to used as primary lighting, I use it when I want more softer lighting. I placed a soft yellow bulb and it brought out the colors more, a soft green bulb also does wonder! Get it!

This lamp is of very nice quality. I was hopefull that it wouldn't look too cheap, but it surprised both myself and my spouse! It's a great "by the bed" reading lamp, and is full of color also. Great lamp at a good price!

It is very pretty and I get many compliments on it. It does tend to tip over easily and needs to be secured.

Nice looking lamp, especially for the price, however, I'm using it in my livingroom on plush carpeting and I have to brace it against a heavy end table to keep it from falling over. Even repositioning the shade doesn't help, ithe weight of the glass shade and the angle both serve to unbalance the base. I'm assuming this wouldn't be an issue on an oak floor. Also has a cheap plastic push button on & off switch on the floor which I think will be the first thing to wear out.

I absolutly love this lamp: the shade is much more detailed than it looked in the photo. It helped me complete a major bedroom makeover, bringing together a new theme and color decor. It gives off enough light for reading, while allowing soft light for relaxation. The price was right, as I wouldn't have considered it, otherwise.

This lamp is lovely, certain to be enjoyed. I chose this lamp because I wanted something to have direct light on a reading chair. This clearly fits the bill.

We absolutely love this lamp. It was all we hoped for and more. The colors are gorgeous. We really like the foot control on and off switch.
