The shade is pretty. It is widely available on a variety of bases. This one looks cheap, particularly where they screw together. I debated whether to keep it and look for a nicer base/stand, or to send it back. I sent it back.
Overall I was pleased with my purchased, however... It was a little shorter than I pictured it. Also, the 'shade' is very large. Because it has two bulbs, I assumed it would really light up an area. It doesn't because the shade prevents the light from 'fanning out'. I am still pleased with the lamp. It really adds color to a room and definitely has a nice look!
This lamp is gorgeous, looks like its worth twice as much. Colours are stunning!If I could change one thing, it could be about 4 inches taller. Other than that minordetail, its perfect. Packed well too. Another great purchase from Overstock.
