I purchased this item over a Year and a half ago. It was beautiful and I loved it. Well about 7 months ago I heard this loud crash in the living room. What had happenned is the top part of the lamp came about . The soder just broke off. After I picked up the top from the floor(it did not break) the butterflys started to come off. I have only one left that is still on. I have tried to resoder it and it didn't stay. I am sad that the quality of wrokmanship is so poor. I hope they fix the problem with this company.

I bought this lamp for in my new house, I love stained glass but it is so expensive. So when I came across this it was exactly what I was looking for and the price WOW I seen it in another catalog for $299.00. Now I wish I would have gotten 2 for that price. Yes I would recommend it , it has great craftmenship. Made heavy duty so not going to fall apart in a couple of months and easy to put together.

I am very pleased with this lamp. We needed light on a staircase wall and this lamp provided perfect illumination. It is so striking that it gives the impression of being a piece of artwork rather than just a light source. I almost did not buy it when I read a review that suggested that it could only accomodate 7 watt chandelier bulbs fearing that it would not give sufficient light. I found 40watt chandelier bulbs and the light is more than adequate. It was easy to assemble. We wired it into an existing wall light outlet.

This lamp was exactly what I wanted, and I was pleasantly surprised how well made it was. This was my first purchase at Overstock.com and was completely impressed with the quality. The selection of lamps to chose from was wonderful, it would take days to shop at all the different stores to find this big of selection, but more importantly - to find something as unique as this wall mounted lamp. I haven't seen one like it in any stores!

I got this last week. I am NOT sorry I bought this. I love it very much and I think it is beautiful and easy to install. If installed correctly, it will stay up. It adds beauty to any room. I might buy another of this. So what if it is plastic ? It is what it looks like. Workmanship is NOT poor, althought not the best. If you want perfect workmanship, then buy the real Tiffany, but then one won't be buying this if they can afford the real thing.

Beautiful lamp. Assembly was alright. My complaint is with the quality of the lamp. After three days the butterflies began to break off do to their own weight. They broke off right at the sight where they are welded to the base. If you own a sodering iron (I don't), I guess you can re-attach and re-inforce them.

I simply love this lamp. It looks great alongside my fireplace. The top is lit with two energy-saving candelabra bulbs and I installed three different colored nightlight bulbs in the butterflies. The whole piece looks gorgeous against the knotty pine wall! Shipping was quick and the packaging was superb. There was absolutely no damage to anything.I made only adjustments to the butterflies' antennae! Absolutely AAA+. I can't say enough how highly I recommend this beautiful, colorful lamp! I love this light. I especially like the dimmer switch on it. I am having trouble finding a 40w bulb that is small enough to fit in the top of the shade. I do not want to use night light bulbs (they would be small enough) because I want the maximum light for reading.

Delivery was on time. When I received the lamp one small butterfly was cracked. Also this is plastic lamp shades. Not glass like I thought I was getting. Nothing of high quaility in the material which I was disappointed.

it does have workmanship issues. I read the reviews and hesitated to get it based on the workmanship reviews, but I couldn't resist. And thanks to Overstock's reviews, I knew what to expect. The holes on the back of the base are too small for the screws that were provided, we used screws with slightly smaller head to hang it on the wall. Then the bracket that mounts the main shade to the wall became disconnected, it broke. I bought an adhesive called JB Weld to glue it back together. The lamp is truly beautiful when it lights up and I am happy that I made this purchase, even though we had to do a little bit of work to it. My boyfriend said "If you were a single guy, you wouldn't want to go out and buy this and hang it on your wall, but if you live with a girl, it's awesome."

This lamp really is exactly as depicted on the website, except more dramatic in person. The only problem we had was lining up the top (main light on the lamp) properly with the "stem" portion. If I did not live with a man that has extraordinary spatial skills, left to my own devices it would probably have been crooked forever. All in all, quite a nice piece and an excellent value! Compliments from all who have seen it...:)

This is a very beautiful light. We did have a problem assembling it because the screws were set at an angle and wouldn't go through the holes for anchoring the large shade. My husband had to enlarge the holes to make the screws go through. One of the soldered leaves was broken off. Other than that it was okay. I really like that it has a dimmer dial to adjust the lights.

I received the item with a broken weld on the bracket that it is hung by, so immediately returned it. Regardless, I think it might have looked nice on the wall (never even bothered assembling it), but it was obvious it was a "you get what you pay for" type of workmanship. The "lead" of the stained glass work looked cheap, and I am not a stained glass expert. I'm not sure whether to recommend it or not, but I lean towards not, considering the overall "cheapness" of the item, in my opinion.

The lights dim! It's the most beautiful thing on the walls of my home. It was difficult to get as I was in Army bootcamp training when it was first attempted to deliver. But after a quick chat with Overstock they cleared up the order and it was here within days. I love this company- and this buy!!! Good idea for any motif!

A piece of wall sculpture as well as a functional lamp. I am very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.

I received my wall lamp yesterday. I had to take it apart first to get it together. The cords in the middle section between the stem extentions were too long to just push through. Remove the three screws on the cap on the back of the top lamp to pull the cords taught, then put stem portion together and replace cap. Note that description says 40watt bulbs. This is incorrect. All bases on lamp are made for a 7watt candelabra or chandelier bulbs. All in all, lamp looks pretty and is well made.

only problem was part of leafs came broken and are hard to glue. Not visisble if you dont know. Overall it gets a lot of compliments from almost everyone.

the two lamps I purchased had terrible workmanship. These lamps were gorgeous, and apperared exactly as Overstock had presented them. I ordered 2 of these lamps to illuminate my bedroom - we have no ceiling lights, so I've been searching for about 18 months for wall mounting lamps that don't look like they came out of a hotel room. The only problem with the lamp was that the mounting frame's screw attachments did not match the lampshade's holes, so they cannot be attached. After quite a few tears, I decided to send this product back. I was very disappointed, to say the least. However, this is the first bad shopping experience with Overstock, and I will continue shopping here.

The lamp's unusual appearance--it is in the shape of the branch of a tree, with a Tiffany-style shade at the top and three smaller butterfly shades at the sides--makes it the centerpiece of every room. In fact, it is so rich in detail and color that it's not easy to fit it into any existing décor. The workmanship of the shade is a little on the coarse side; but that might have to be expected for the price. Note that the lamp takes only five 7W bulbs (there is a warning to that effect attached to it), not the 40W bulbs mentioned in Overstock's description. Therefore, the lamp can function only as a night light, not as a room's principal source of illumination. However, when illuminated at night, it does look like a piece of art.
