I almost returned this light when I took it out of the box. I did end up mounting it and it looks much better with the light turned on. It is really purple. The neutral part is light purple. With the the light on, it looks white with purple and red swirls and resembles the picture on the box. When the light is off, it is very purple. and dull looking. The bronze fixture part is also purpleish bronze. I think it would be better if it was darker bronze or even black for contrast. If you love purple, you will love this light. I don't hate it when it is lit. Mounting was difficult because of the three stabilizing bars. We had to bend them to get them to attach to the shade. Without them, the shade wobbles. There was plenty of wire and chain. We ended up cutting the wire and not using all the chain. My sister loves purple and loves this light.

I am absolutely thrilled with this product. The photo captures the colors well and when hung and lit, it is absolutely stunning. Assembly was not that difficult with two people working together.

I needed an overhead light fixture for my small casual living room and this works perfectly. The overall color of the shade is pale lavender which was unexpected but works fine with my furnishings.. It wasn't too difficult to install and I enjoy it more each day. I've had it for about 6 weeks. It is made of glass and there were a few minor cracks and blemishes so I recommend a careful examination when you receive the lamp.

I was so thrilled to see this lamp in person - it's even prettier than it looked online! I bought it to replace a truly ugly chandelier in my recently-bought home, and I'm delighted with it. Even my electrician who installed it, had good things to say - he said he's seen plenty of Tiffany-style lamps that just weren't really pretty, but this one is. He said it was simple to install as well.

I bought 6 of these to change the lighting in my restaurant, they were simple to install without hiring an electrician, plenty of cord and chain to make a nice swag effect. The colors match the decor perfectly and they look very pretty & vibrant when lit.. They arrived in just 2 days after ordering them and there was absolutely no damage to any of them which was a concern since I needed to install all 6 at once or none at all. I'm not sure they are glass though, feels more like heavy plastic, but for me that wasn't a problem. I recieve compliments on them every day. If your looking for inverted tiffany style lamps, you can't beat these for the price.

Could not be any prettier or elegant. It adds just the panache to my place that I was seeking, while providing plenty of light. I never want to turn it off. This is an absolutely beautiful light. I love it!

I initially had a problem with the description of this item because it didn't mention anything about a chain or cord as all the other lighting descriptions did. After two communications with Overstock customer service they assured me that this product did, indeed, come with these items. The lamp was well packaged when it arrived and all the parts were there. I had a professional install it, and he did so quickly and with ease. It looks absolutely perfect in the stairwell when I look at it from above or below. I am very pleased with this product and the way it was shipped.

This is a beautiful lamp that compliments my dining room. I love it! The colors are very rich and vibrant.

This lamp looks wider than it appears in the photo, so be sure to check your measurements. We were able to wire it ourselves by carefully following the directions. Very happy with our purchase.
