I was definitely disappointed with the poor quality of this product. The shade appears to be made of tin and cheap plastic. Not worth the purchase price!!!!!!!!!!

It is a nice lamp for the price. It matches our office decor and does not look cheap. Bear in mind: 1) it's a floor lamp with 2 bright bulbs on the level of you shoulder. It is not good for reading right next to it, the light is too bright. I use it in the office near the book shelves (I usually STAND when I pick up books, not SIT). Think carefully for what purpose you're going to use it. 2) the part of the stand that appears shiny in the picture is actually made of brown plastic. It does not look cheap; the overall impression is nice, just don't be disappointed.

Superior cheap materials...and the designer was on some fun drugs or hasn't dealt with their teenage angst and took it out on the lamp. You'll search high and low for a bulb just the right size to allow the shade to be tightened by that teet-like topper, just to have it melt the shade as the right glance does the knees...it blows.

This is a really nice addition to our bedroom. We have a small chair and now have a nice lamp to compliment it. It matches the dragonfly lamps perfectly, that I purchased last year at overstock.
