I bought this because my old track lighting fixture began to fail, and frankly, it was cheaper and easier to buy this one and install it myself than to pay an electrician to fix the problem with my old model. Overall I am very satisfied with this fixture. The lamps and the unit are very flexible with almost 360 degree positioning. My husband and I were able to figure out the wiring using YouTube videos.
Ordered this lighting fixture for a dark area in the family room that was already on a dimmer switch. It's great. I do recommend the dimmer switch as there is LOTS of light!
