This is a pretty lamp. I bought this amber and green shade lamp, and the picture shows pretty much exactly how the lamp is being off. It's more vibrant with the light on. I also bought the floor stand lamp of the same style else where. Overstock.com carries only the table lamp as far as I know, but its pricing is definitely lower than the other places. The only confusing thing about this lamp is the appropriate wattage for the light bulbs. Some of the sites say this lamp should go with 25W bulbs. Some of the sites say this should go with 40W bulbs. Both of the lights I bought (from different sellers) had stickers on the lamps stating that 'to reduce risk of fire, 15W max bulbs are recommended'. I wanted a bright lamp, but I don't want to risk putting my house on fire, or have the glass shades shattered due to extreme heat generated from over wattage bulbs, or maybe the shades will get badly discolored from over wattage so I only use 15W. So it ends up creating a pretty warm atmosphere but not too bright. 25W bulbs would do every well but I don't know how safe that is. Iit's still something 'made in China' 'for sale in US' so I don't know how reliable the info is. I tried the CFL light bulbs but the smallest ones still ended up touching the glass shades so that was not an option.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Exactly like in the picture
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Not too accurate
