This was a very disappointing purchase. Most of the "stained glass" is actually plastic. The plastic collars which screw-clamp the shades to the fixture base do not fit the threading at all, they float over the threads and because the threading doesn't extend to the base, the shades can't be securely tightened. Despite being described as an "art nouveau bronze", and appearing so in the product image, the finish on the fixture was actually a deep, unattractive Puce, with no hint of metallic finish. To match the rest of the bathroom fixtures the unit had to be treated with a faux finish. I found no evidence of the fake stained glass being "wrapped in fine copper foil" - rather the plastic shade panels seem separated by strips of good old fashioned lead. Handling the shades leaves fingers covered in a leaden film - I did not see a Lead disclaimer at the time I purchased the unit, although I do see one posted now. The "four (4) 60-watt light bulbs" needed turned out to be G-Type, which was also not disclosed on the product information page. Finally, the mounting screws provided would not thread into the existing electrical junction box. In summary, this unit was not as described or as pictured, features inferior construction and materials, and needed many hours of extra work before it could be mounted and used. Had it been possible, I would have awarded zero stars for "Ease of Assembly". Product value as received is far beneath the purchase price, although the appearance and function of the unit post-modification does live up to the expectations of the purchaser.

I couldn't disagree more with the previous review and am glad I followed my instincts. My lighting looks exactly as pictured. The shades are indeed glass and cast a lovely warm glow. Keep in mind that if you are looking for a lot of light, this is not the fixture for you. It uses small G-type 60 watt bulbs that softly filter through the upright stained glass shades. Installation was a bit more difficult than expected. We had to retro-fit due to the fact that our box is wired in horizontally. Even so, with a bit of ingenuity, it's installed and works beautifully in our Deck House.

I found this, and the price was great. Lighting can be so expensive, and this was just the colors I was looking for. I have not yet installed it, so I can't comment on the the light that it produces.

I love the fixture. It has met all of my expectations and I only ordered one and will be ordering one more to complete my bathroom. I have received many compliments and I am sure Overstock will have some new customers.

No where in the description that I saw did it say that it took candelabra style bulbs. The lower wattage light output gives it a very yellow cast. We were lucky that A) we were able to jury-rig things enough so that where the box we had was located (13 inches from the wall) the fixture cleared (the fixture is 27 inches wide). And B) The base of the fixture is nice and wide, so it covers a multitude of sins if you happen to need to move it around some. It is nice and attractive, but it casts a dim, yellow light.

The Tiffany light is beautiful. The cost is excellent. The installation is easy, however, making the final connect can be challenging. If I would recommend this product to a friend, I would inform them of the difficulty that may occur in screwing the light bulb in the holder, plastic vs metal. It takes patience to make a workable connection. Other than the possibility of the several attempts to make the light come on, I could not have asked for anything more pretty and cost effective then by selecting this light. Although I'm still working on screwing the last light bulb in, I stand back and admire the beauty of this item.

the light is gorgeous, pretty good quality. For a small powder room it would be great. I ordered 2 and it seems the return is going to be very easy. If these lights were twice the size I would have loved them but for our newly remodled bathroom they were just not substantial enough.

I would recommend this item with the understanding that it is not the best quality---The lights are a little dull on the color and the brown frame came a little nicked--too small to bother to exchange and go through the hassle of sending it back. Over all a decent buy.

This light fixture is fantastic!!!! It has beautiful rich colors and added so much to our bathroom remodel. Easy to install and the shipping was expeditious!!! This light fixture was less than 1/2 of what other retailers charged! As always I love overstock & am happy with my purchase.

This is a very nice craftsman style light fixture. I purchased a craftsman entry light as well, and the pattern is similar and flows well into the bathroom. I would recommend this fixture to anyone who likes tiffany style/mission style/ craftsman style furnishings.

This is a great fixture for my half bath down stairs. I hooked it up to a sensor switch so no one has to turn a light on or off. The only thing I could say negative is the bulb size was not in the description. Not a big deal but worth knowing when you are purchasing a light fixture. This fixture takes CANDELABRA BASE bulbs.

For the price this is a great light fixture! I work with stained glass as a hobby and my fixture was all glass - no plastic. It's beautiful, gives plenty of light and was a breeze to install. Even my grumpy husband loves this light fixture and he didn't see anything wrong with the 3 globe "hollywood" style light I was replacing. He really loved that it took him all of five minutes to install. I shopped on line A LOT before choosing this fixture and it's everything I wanted. The colors look great with my mission/lodge style decor and really created a nice focal point in my remodeled guest bathroom. We are building a new house. This light will go in a half-bath. I've become quite fond of Mission Style furniture so the vaniety is Mission Style. This light goes perfectly with my new bath. The order seemed to come before I shut down my computer!!!
