I use this as a night light in a very large bathroom that is an interior room. I put a small bulb in it and leave it on 24/7 because it is so beautiful. It is actually the first thing you notice in the room and was a great price for such a distinctive piece.
I placed the lamp on a mission style end table, next to leather couches and its just perfect ! Not stained glass, but nice quality, and the colors are lovely either lit or dark. The base is heavy and looks expensive. My only reason for removing 1 star is, the knob that attaches the shade to the base is always loose. This appears to be the case with all the Overstock lamps I've purchased. You really have to play with the knob and threads to get it close to firmly attached. Otherwise, a perfect, lovely lamp.
The first lamp I received was defective the upper part [the dome] was off center. I returned this without any problem. Received the replacement, it is perfect better than I expected the picture does not do it justice..
This lamp was beautiful , I have many stained glass lamps and this one is one of my favorites.Great way to show off your Irish heritage with this claddagh lamp.
perfect lamp that adds life to a room. my husband thinks it looks a little old, noting that it reminds him of his grandmother... but i think it has great charm. brings a soft light to the room. glass has great color. base is heavy, but what you would expect for this style.
