I bought this item for a Christmas present. I was kind of skeptical at first, but when I received it through the mail my mind completely changed! It is beautiful and a perfect accent for any table. There is no assembly to it; just screw in a small light bulb, plug it in the wall, and you are done! I would recommend this anyone looking for a great gift that looks more expensive than it actually is! It was definately a great bang for my buck!

I didn't think this item was as nice "in-person" as it showed on-line. It seems a little cheap looking to me. After reading the reviews I was a little surprised when it arrived by the appearance and thought the cost was high for what it is. The base looks cheap and seems to be a molded "something" not sure, don't think it's wood. The glass itself does seem to be sturdy. I intend to give this as a gift and do think it is still good enough for that.

I got this as a birthday present for my niece. She was very happy with it. She especially liked how you can position the antennas.

The butterfly light is really pretty, and serves as a lovely accent in any room. I bought 2 as gifts, but ended up using one for myself. Would recommend it as a "spotlight" piece.

I bought this for my mother in-law who normally buys the real Tyffanie lamps. I don't have the money to buy a real Tyffanie lamp for her, but she actually LOVED this lamp. It has the looks of a Tyffanie and to someone that doesn't know better this looks very similiar. It looks very eligant when it's lit up, and she said she's received many compliments on it. My only complaint is that is comes in a flimsy styrofoam box so I had to repackage it before gifting and the antennae's where alittle crooked. Overall though this is a good buy, I would recommend it.

This is a wonderrful little lamp--very vibrant colors. It came fully assembled-just put in a bulb and you're done. The manufacturer recommends a 15 watt bulb--I tried higher wattage only to have it blow the bulb, so went to a 7 watt which works beautifully. This lamp is meant as a decorative night-light kind of fixture, not a piece to light a room ,so the 7 watt is excellent .Wonderful piece in my room--would recommend highly.

I really like this lamp. The base looks like good fake wood and the glass is very pretty, even when not lit. But at night, it's beautiful! Even my husband likes this and he was VERY much against the idea. But it is very pretty when lit up. Both of my kids are very jealous that it is in our room and not theirs. We'll see if I have to order another one or two soon!

We gave this to my son for his 4th Birthday to put in his room as a bright night light. We named her "Angelica" and made up a story about her watching over him so he doesn't need to be afraid at night. The lamp is very good quality. The cord, however, like other lamps I have ordered here, had very sticky subtance all over the cord and the lamp shade had an oily grease on it, like another stained glass lamp I ordered. Overstock is good for value, but no shipping information receipts are sent, so I don't know how you would return an item if it didn't work. We are happy with the lamp, though.

I received my butterfly lamp yesterday. It looks just like the picture. Very nice. I was a little disappointed that it was obvious that it had been used. The cord was not wrapped but had been at some point. Remnance of wrapping were still on the cord. Also the cord looked like a 3 year old had put it in a twist tie. It is a gift so I have to make it look like it is new in order to give it.

I purchased this light for a gift - which I haven't given yet. I was a little disappointed in the base, but the glass butterfly is lovely and looks great lit. Heck, if the receipient doesn't like it, I'll keep it. Great night light for any room.

This lamp looks much better in person! I purchased it for a Christmas present, and recieved it today and was very pleased with how it looks! I am giving it to my mom tomorrow, and hope she likes it! I am sure she will! Great buy for the money!

I received my lamp a few days ago and was eager to plug her in and give her a try. It is beautiful! It came superbly wrapped and packaged ( I am saving the packing for my move in 3 months) and my mother has been hinting for one as her Christmas gift! I am thinking of purchasing others to give as gifts this holiday season. Worth every penny!

I bought this for a very dear friend who lost her Grandaighter some years ago due to a senseless act of tragedy at the tender age of ten. The little girl LOVED butterflies and I knew this as my dear friend and I had a brief talk one late night @ 10years ago and she told me that her Grandaughters had a love for them. I saw this lamp and immediately thought of them both. I sent one to her as a gift and she was so pleased and in shocked. I myself as the gift giver have not seen it but in her words "It looks so very, very expensive! The workmanship is excellent and the colors are vibrant." She placed that lamp on her Grandaughters "Rememberance Table" that sits in front of a window and she told me, " Now my baby will not have to wait until spring to look for a butterfly, she will find one here waiting for her all year round!".....That was worth EVERY penny and MORE!!!
