I received the shade first not realizing there would be 2 boxes shipped. When I unpacked the shade it seemed ENORMOUS. I put it back in the carton for safe keeping until the base arrived the next day or so. Once the lamp was assembled it IS large but is actually a terrific size for my large living room. It is farthest from the main entrance to the room but demands its own attention due to the size and sheer beauty of it. The colors are SO much richer than what is pictured. It is better viewed from a distance so that all the features can be observed. At first I felt the yellows were a bit too bright for the room; once I got the Peony lamp and Bonsai lamp assembled and placed, ALL of the colors of all the lamps really compliment and unite the whole picture. I did not even notice any faults or seams in the base until I read other reviews; I agree with the reviewer who said no one will notice if it isn't pointed out. My base is quite heavy and holds the shade very solidly. I love that it has pull chains AND the in line switch. I do prefer the pull chains on any of the "Tiffanys" to the line switch when there is only the one switch.A certified Tiffany of this size and quality must be thousands of dollars - this is getting the MOST for the price. I almost always return to Overstock after comparing prices elsewhere and have most always been pleased with the service.

I love this lamp; I am glad I bought it. If you are looking for Tiffany quality, however, you need to spend more than this lamp costs. This lamp was inexpensive, is BIG, the colored glass seems like it is plastic, and it has a plastic looking base with obvious seams. It takes 3 60 watt bulbs, with 3 different pull chains (I think the web description said just 2--but the 3rd gives you more flexibility with the light it puts out and the energy used to light the lamp). I have the lamp on a corner nightstand so the cheap aspects are not visible from the middle of the room, and the big, colorful lamp fills up the space in a really delightful way. The photo on the web site shows a creamy color near the top of the lamp--its not! It is yellow--bright yellow. If you do not want yellow (I think it looks good with the other colors in the lamp), however, you probably do not want this lamp.

This lamp is beautiful.........I ordered it for my living room desk.......I didn't realize it was so big nor did I know that Overstock offered a similar Lakeshore smaller "desk lamp" that would have been more appropriate. This lamp actually has 3 bulbs, not 2 as advertised. However, I just love this lamp and would recommend it to anyone.

This lamp is well worth the money! Looked at quite a few, in stores and on-line; chose this one because of its unique blend of colors and traditional with a contemporary flair style. The shade is curvier than the photo shows, very unusual. Mine has more yellow than I expected, and has a vibrant, beautiful appearance. The green, violet, and burgundy colors are blended in well, I can't take my eyes off of it. It arrived a week after ordering; first the shade; the base came the next day. Three bulbs can be turned on separately with pull chains, and the entire lamp can be controlled with a switch on the cord (convenient!). The base is sturdy and attractive. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a tiffany style lamp that's not old fashioned looking or church-like.

I purchased this fine lamp with the help of an Overstock online personal shopper. I was looking for a tall table lamp that would compliment the living room and within my price range. I got it! This is absolutely lovely. When lighted, the colors are brillant and colorful. I would definitely recommend this lamp and Overstock.com as a place to find/purchase fine quality and inexpensive tiffany like lamps. Additionally, the shipping cost of $2.95, absolutely the best shipping costs in any business!!

I bought this lamp as a gift for my boyfriend. I received it quickly and it was packed very well. I read negative reveiws on this lamp. They claimed the base was cheap, and you could see a seam in it. I didn't think the base was cheap. It's pretty heavy. You can see a little bit of a seam, but it's hardly noticeable. I didn't rate it 5 stars for this reason. The lamp is BIG. It's bigger than I thought it would be. The shade is just gorgeous. It's very colorful and my boyfriend just loved it!

i bought this lamp last year as my own christmas present and waited to open it. i was so disappointed when i did. the colors were not the same as the picture, just dark purples and greys, ugly greens and lots of ugly browns. the craftmanship is good and i would like the lamp if it wasn't for the ugly colors. i kept it, because i didn't want to go thru the trouble of sending it back. i am not giving up, i ordered the wisteria lamp, hoping not to be disappointed again. the lakeside lamp will go in the guest room.

It is sometimes difficult to tell from the pictures how the colors will actually look. This lamp is just spectacular. It has movement in the design like a creek flowing between the rocks with flowers on the bank. Very nicely done and a terrific value.

I bought this lamp for the shade only.I needed it for a floor lamp base I all ready had. Good thing because the base to this lamp is cheap and light weight I would almost call it junk..The shade is pretty but just ok not great... There are much nicer Tiffany lamps to choose from on overstock I would pass on this one..

For the price, this lamp is just lovely. There are a couple of imperfections, but they aren't noticeable. All in all, I think it is a good value and I get lots of compliments on it.

This lamp has a great shade with color have not seen another like it. The base is a little cheesey light weight and seam shows where it was cast.

The shade is beautiful! The glass colors are stunning. Unfortunately, the base is shoddy. It looks like it was molded, taken apart, and molded back together. The finial piece that hold the lamp into the base is wobbly - whenever we walk thru the room, it rattles and makes me nervous. But I so love the glass that I will try to find a new base instead of returning it.

I saw this lamp 3 years ago on a TV shopping network....I wanted it then but it was twice the price....then when I could afford it , this lamp was nowhere to be found-internet, stores or ebay.I was delighted to find it here and at an excellent price. My only concern is the base has a visable seam. I am very particular......But this is unbelievably beautiful and with the nature theme, attracts the eye of all who have been to my home. I have several other tiffany style lamps so I know what I am talking about. By the way, I have never been disappointed in an overstock purchase...Thank you again.

This is the prettiest lamp I have the pleasure of owning. It is the most beautiful lamp when it is lit as well as off. The colors are magnificent. When people walk into my living room this is the first thing they notice and they all love it like I do. I cannot believe how reasonably priced it is since it is like a work of art!

I have had this lamp for a couple of years. It is absolutely beautiful and somehow matches any room. The unique shape of the shade is absolutely exquisite.
