This lamp is ten thousand times better looking than the picture, and I bought it based on the picture! The base is NOT parrot green with red, yellow and orange drip glaze. The base is a deep drab olive/army green with bronze metallic drip glaze over chocolate. Very classy. It's much more subtle than the photo, and very elegant. The shade is exquisite. I think the photo makes the lamp and shade appear to be round. The lamp is about 5" deep by about a foot across. The shade is also oval. This is my Mother's favorite stained glass lamp of all time. I have it on an antique desk in the library. It looks great.

Very pretty and very different. The shade is beautiful,but the base is not complimentry. I do enjoy this lamp. It has been moved to several rooms in my home. Somewhat on the heavy side to handle. The workmanship in the shade is very nice. wonderful lamp for the price.

It is ugly and garish in person, I didn't like it.

I bought two of these for my living room side tables. Love them!! They're a bit larger than I expected, but they're gorgeous and even though I only use two 40 watt bulbs in each lamp instead of 60 watt, they still add a splash of color to the otherwise overwhelmingly beige room. We had guests over the other day and they couldn't stop looking at these. Highly recommend them.

This is a gorgeous lamp that will add a warm glowing ambiance to any room. The picture provided of the ceramic vase does not do it justice. The only thing that I would warn future buyers about is that the glass on this is somewhat dark and even though it uses 2 60 watt bulbs, this is not a lamp that one can read by.

This lamp will not disappoint. I had my eye on it for quite some time before expending the money. I do not know why I waited. It gives me pleasure every day.

I was very pleased with this lamp upon receiving it. It's pretty in the picture but so much more impressive in person. I love the pattern and how they did they grapes in several colors. I will definitely keep my eye out for another lamp in the future.

This lamp is larger and heavier than I expected, however, when it is turned on the colors are beautiful and it is an interesting addition to my living room. It is different and a fun piece.

Compared to another emperor tiffany lamp I bought at the same time, I think this one is much better. I am still suspecious that if this lamp top is made by glass. But it comes out very well when you put light on. I put it in my bed room. Very nice.

This lamp is beautiful. I have several tiffany lamps and this is probably my favorite. The shade isn't round but more cresent shaped which adds to its attraction. The only problem that I have with this lamp is that there were a few scratches on the ceramic base on the middle front and middle back but I didn't want to hassel the return as this lamp comes in two boxes. I paid almost half the price of one I saw in a local furniture store. Great buy!

This is my third Tiffany lamp from Overstock, and the best. It is so beautiful that I have placed it in my living room instead of the family room. It is large and heavy, as indicated, and the shade does swivel if moved. It should be placed in a spot where it will be protected from movement. Mine is on a table behind a love seat, in a corner. Regarding other reviews, where it was mentioned that the lamp is dark. This is true of most Tiffany lamps, and a simple way to deal with this is to put it on a dimmer, and let it stay at the lowest light during the day, then turn up at night. This way it is always glowing. As far as concerns about the grapes having bubbles, I consider it as part of a hand made item.

I love the look - I agree with other comments that is feels more like plastic than glass - but the look is beautiful so I am keeping it. It is oval rather than round which works fine in the Bay window that I am using it. Definitely eye catching.

I was impressed to receive the lamp after only 1 day of ordering it. Great service! However, upon opening it, I discovered: 1. The shade looks very grayish when not lit. There are warnings about this problem on some other Tiffany lamps but not on this lamp, that's why I bought it. Only the blue and the green colors of the leaves show when not lit. This way, I have to look at the grayish color most of the day except for the very few hours in the evening. It defeats the purpose of purchasing a Tiffany lamp. It is very beautiful when lit, though. 2. It was very easy to assemble. But after installing, no matter how hard I tried to tighten the screw on both ends, the shade still freely turns at the slightest movement of the base. 3. On the shade I found cracks at 2 places on the glass and 1 crack on the grape. One of the grapes has a big chip at the point. 4. There are big bubbles on the grapes. Some bubbles are still in the grapes because they are located deep inside the grapes, some of the bubbles that are closer to the surface so they blew and left holes (as big as 1/4 inch) on the grapes. 5. The ceramic base doesn't look like in the picture. In the picture, the dark veins are much more (10 of them) and at least 5 of them run really low toward the bottom. The one I received has only 3 dark veins evenly placed close to the base neck on both sides and they run only 1 inch downward. It doesn't look very artistic. 6. I can live with the 3 small cracks and the small bubbles since they are not very visible when not lit, but I cannot accept the holes created by the bubbles, the grayish color and the non-artistic veins on the ceramic base. 7. This is a beautiful lamp. The colors are deep and rich. It is heavy and well made. I purchased it for my guest room but have changed my mind and put it in my own room. I really like the oval design - it looks round in the picture but I like the oval design much better and it is a large lamp so the shape helps it fit in more places.

Unbelievably Gorgeous!!!! As the other reviews have stated, the packing is excellent, the only problem was I couldn't get it out of the boxes fast enough. I wanted to see how it was going to match the furnishings and wall paper. The colors are true to the picture. I have several other Tiffany lights throughout the house and this one is by far the most beautiful. Most tiffany lights are some what dull when they are not lit, but this one is most definitely Never dull. I have it on an oval side table beside an oversized chair and ottomon in the den where we have furniture with a similar design on the fabric and the colors are perfectly matched.... I couldn't have done this any better if I had made it myself!!!! Thank you overstock!!!!

Amazing! The colors glow with a fire all their own. Matches our new leather and wood furniture in our den beautifully and we've been searching for months for the perfect Tiffany lamp to go with the stone/slate insets on our wood end table. Don't be fooled into thinking that it might be too big on your table. The oblong shape actually saves space that a round lamp takes up and what an eye catcher! We've priced Tiffany lamps and would have paid $450-$650 for less beauty locally. Great buy and shipping.

Beauty, value, craftmanship! Had actually purchased identical lamp locally for $200 more. Saw this on Overstocks, ordered it, and returned the locally purchased lamp! Exactly the same, not inferior quality. Have rec'd many comments aleady!

I was very pleased when I unpacked this lamp. The size and colors are perfect. The shade, and base appear to be round, but they are really a oblong shape. The packing was excellent, and it arrived without any damage.

The picture of this lamp is what caught my attention. Then I read the reviews and made up my mind to order it. This is a BIG beautiful lamp, larger than I thought it would be, but it works well in the corner of my kitchen. The shade is more of a wide oval, and the base is very BIG and sturdy. I was slightly disappointed in the color of the base as it doesn't look like the picture. There is much less color in the one I received and the color is only at the top of the base. But it looks lovely when the lamp is turned on. This definitely looks like a handmade work of art.
