The shelving where the cable box goes is much too small, but I didn't know this until after the stand was put together. The only measurments given before hand are for the height, width and depth of the overall piece, not the specific width of the shelving, therefore, your cable box must be less than 17 inches. The wood-like plastic edging around the curved top won't stay glued down, the end has lifted up. I now have a tv stand I can't use or return.

I am not pleased with this item at all. I did all the measurement, yet never considered the component sections being so small--neither the DVD nor the cable converter fits in openings. Then too, the top was chipped...all of this was not discovered until the TV Stand was put together. I hate it, thus, its been thrown away 'cause too much trouble to return. I would not recommend to anyone, but that's probably the reason you have so many. I was told by a friend you stuff was cheap--now I know. Will never buy from you again! Good bye.

I don't think this item ever made it's way out of the warehouse, but amazon quickly handled the tracking and was prompt to refund my money.

It arrived in 3 days and I put it together solo in under 3 hours (that was with lots of breaks). Easy enough to assemble and it looks beautiful in my den. I liked that both sides have CD holders.

Fairly easy to assemble although instructions are pictures only. The dimensions of the inner shelves are not provided and it was only after assembly that I realized my DVD player does not fit. Oh well, I get to buy a new more high tech one! This TV shelf is perfect for my small space because it is taller than wider, and the depth holds the old TV (not a flat screen) and remains stable. Perfect also for a shelf stereo system. I'm very happy with this unit, and as long as your components fit, it's a great space saver.

This was just the right height for our bedroom, only downside is the width of the shelves, 1/2 of our electronics didn't fit - only 15 inches wide.
