This sink was my first purchase from Overstock so I did not know what to expect. I set the bar lower than I would have for a brick and mortor store where I could have seen the item pror to purchase, but was willing to go ahead due to the discription and photographs. I had read the return policy and felt protected if things went badly. Much to my suprise the Sink came and it was far better in terms of quality and value than I would have required at the best home design stores, and at less than half the price. My old sink was OK quality and had two little strips of sound deadening material, this one is practacly covered with it. The 16 vice 18 or 20 gauge stainless steel is a huge difference and feels much more solid and screams quality. This sink is in a most visable location in my new kitchen and confirms for me that I made the correct decision to go with the the edgey new style it represents. The beveled revell is highly polished stainless and is simply beautiful, and serves a practical purpose as well in that it will not allow any unsightly buildup of deposits that may have occured on a flat surface in hard to reach spots where the sink joins the granite. If you are thinking about buying this sink, DO IT! I also purchased a larger sink from the same manufacturer and it is of the same high quality and assures me that my new trough sink is not a fulke! This is a quality item and probably didn't even need the use of a "laser."
