I've had this lamp for about 3 years now. The design is one of a kind and I get compliments on it. Works great.

The lamp was much shorter than I expected. I should have checked the measurements prior to purchasing. Other than that, very pleased with the look and workmanship of the lamp.

This lamp is just what I needed to complete my updating my second bedroom. The shade has a nice texture that gives off great lighting and the overall lamp is just as described. Easy to assemble. The lamp looks a lot better in the image displayed on the web. The assembly wasn't extremely easy. The pole may have a slight slant to it making it a little difficult to put together.

This is a great bargain. The lamp is not overpowering as some floor lamps can be. Easy to assemble. When I first saw the shade, I thought I wasn't going to like the color. However, when you turn the lamp on, everything goes together wonderfully. If you're looking for a compact-sized floor lamp, but one that's very unique and functional, this is your lamp.

Its an average lamp. A bit flimsy and a smaller lamp shade then I was expecting. Good prices at 40 bucks and change. Only takes a 100 watt bulb, I put a 3 in 1 bulb in it and only the 100 watt works. Looks find from a distance but can tell is lacking in quality when up close. There are lots of other options on the site that would be better suited.

This is a good lamp. It does its job. One thing though, before you put it together make sure everything is there and the peices are assembled correctly. When I got my first one I assembled it right away and it stood up crooked which was because one of the screws that connects it was screwed in wrong which basically killed the whole thing for me. I tried to fix it and broke it, so I got another one. The second one was pre-assembled correctly so the second still works.

The shade is rectangular, 13" X 8", not square, and not as transparent as I thought. Direct lighting (downward) and ambient lighting (reflected from ceiling) are perfect for soft room lighting. Shade appears darker than I thought when lit, more opaque, giving warm glow. I used spiral neon light bulb, but I think it will take a 3-way bulb as well. Directions say to use 100 watt bulb; mine is dimmer. Assembly is simple, as all pieces are strung together on cord and small wrench is included to tighten bolt at bottom of base. 10-yr-old child could do it. Black rectangular base is small, 9 1/2" X 7", but solid and heavy. Granite tic-tac-toe blocks are pre-attached to lamp section. I absolutely LOVE this lamp and may get a 2nd one since I put this by computer desk and need one for living room.
