Good quality materials and fairly simple to assemble. It's probably not destined to be handed down throught the generations as a family heirloom, but it did add the perfect accent to a wall without protruding into the walking area. Bottom line, yes, it's worth the money.

Very nice, elegant and sturdy. Easy to assemble my 10 yr. old daughter and I put it together in less than an hour. Color is just as it shows in the picture.

I ordered the item in hopes of getting a solid wood bookshelf, but only to find that it is only MFD. Don't get me wrong, the item is beautiful and functional, but its not wood. Also, the item chips and scratches effortlessly.

Very easy to assemble - took me 45 minutes to assemble by myself. The color is very dark (which I love). It looks good in my living room entryway. It holds a good number of books.

While the finished bookcase looks fine completed, it was a pain in the neck assembling it. Had I known that I would have to put the case together myself, I would not have bought this piece of furniture. Some of the materials provided were not up to standard and I had to drill holes, glue and clamp the wood. As such, it was very overpriced. My decision to assemble it was probably not a good idea, because it took me hours. I am happy with the end result, appearance wise. I just hope it doesn't fall apart some time down the road.

I really like this table/shelf. I did not like the instructions as they lack in not only actual instructions but the pictures are not clear at all. I managed to put the v tray in the shelf backwards and by the time i realized it the wood glue was set. Its not that noticeable but bugs me! Also in one of the V tray boards when I screwed in the wood screw, it cracked the board slightly. Again its not too noticeable but bugs me. Needless to say the V shelf boards must not be solid wood. Good table/shelf for the money though.

Horrible instruction manual. The piece looks nice as a whole, though the wood did start to split near one of the screw areas.

THis is NOT REAL Wood......Two pieces split while trying to put it together. Very Poor quality. Wood screws were not long enough to hold together "V" shape part of the shelf. Had to find some others to use. WOuld NOT recommend this shelf...

This is a very nice bookshelf, however the instructions was horrible. It was very difficult to follow. The top of the bookcase was not securely put in place because it was very hard to tighten the screws. Overrall I love the look, but I will have to get someone to help secure the top part of it. I would only reccomend if you can put things together without the instructions. Also they should give you one extra screw for every thing and they didn't, just the exact amount of tools.NOT GOOD ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

I got this as a small table for the entry. It does the job, just an accent piece. But the quality was not so great. The middle section that turns in doesnt stay together. The nails dont appear long enough to secure it so I don't intend to put anything heavy on it. A piece of the wood split without hardly any presseure. If you intend to use it just as an accent with no real function it's worth the price.

I purchased this book case to fit an odd space that is between a bathroom door and a laundry room. The book case fits perfectly and is flawless! The best feature is the tilted bookcase which allows you to showcase your nicest pieces of literature.. I placed a print of the 3 famous pyramid of Giza above the bookcase and thus had Egyptian themed items and books on display. I will purchase from Overstock.com again! : )

I had looked for a bookshelf for a while. When I saw this one I decided to take a chance and order it. I put it together by myself although I would recommend having someone help you. It would be easier and go faster. The quality is excellent - all wood materials. It holds a lot of books and magazines without being a huge piece of furniture. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This product looks really good! Lots of people love it. The process of putting it together was quite difficult. Plan to have time to put this together but it is well made and put together it stands the test of my kids putting things in it. I love the uniqueness of this shelf. It's quite sturdy and very good looking. Putting it together required a little work, but I did it by myself in about an hour or less. Highly recommend this shelf.

It was exactly as I thought it would be. As I said before it was not easy to put together. I wish the directions were more to the point. They put that sketch which was very small and very hard to read. But once together it is great.
