Love this light!
This may be my favorite light in our new house. I didn't use it as a foyer light, but as a light over my soaking tub. It looks beautiful over the tub, and although there is a chain with it that allows it to be lowered, it is not too low for the tub. This pendant creates a beautiful "design" on the ceiling when lit, like it just sparkles, for lack of a better word. I would definitely recommend this light to a friend. I wish I had places for more of these in our house.

lantern size? really?
claims to be 24 iches tall!! The box was only 16 inches high! the lantern measures a litttle over 12 inches total! very disappointed and will be returning!

Great for my needs
Bought this for the "guts" only, as I was converting an old outside lantern into a chandelier for my breakfast area. The lamp was perfect for what I wanted, and so much cheaper and easier than locating the necessary parts elsewhere.
