Nice large coffee table. What the description does not make clear is that the top is faux shagreen. In older times "shagreen" was an untanned leather with a granular surface, prepared from the hide of a horse, shark, seal, etc. So it's pebbly and looks like a hide. The shagreen top is divided into sections radiating from a center circle and then continuing down the legs. It is definitely different and unique looking. Note that the top color appears ivory /cream colored in the picture but is really closer to a tan color. Not sure how the top is attached (glued?) or how it will clean or hold up. It you are looking for something very different then this will fill the bill. I will do a separate review on the matching end tables.

If you want something different, this is it. I love this table. After almost 2 years it is holding up nicely...and I set drinks down on it, and snacks all the time. I have no complaints....and get lots of compliments.

I absolutely love this table. It is very unique and gets a positive comment from every guest. The wood finish is almost black which I love. The lines in the top give a great since of attitude to the piece. I use it in a large living room as the coffee table in front of 2 couches which are placed together like an "L" shape. It works great to bring the room together. It came in one piece which is fabulous. I can't say enough how much I love it!!!

This is a great table at a fantastic price. It came in one piece, no assembly. Has the look of high design and something that would cost 3x what I paid! All my friends have commented on how different and beautiful it is...absolutely LOVE it.
