It does exactly what I want. The gel fuel gives off nice heat & the shelves on the side is great storage. I like my electronic equipment hidden.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not too well. The discription says the wood is dark walnut but the picture shows espresso. I was hoping the picture was wrong but it wasn't.

I would have like to know how hot the unit really got before I made my purchase. The btu put out is not nearly in my opinion what was advertised. Aside from that it looks great with out the huge cost of installing an actual fireplace.
