I bought this after my car was broken into so that I could have a place to lock up valuables when I'm on the river during kayaking trips. I wish it was a little larger but it's a good, simple solution big enough to carry most of my small valuables (wallet, keys, etc.). Probably not big enough to put two peoples' stuff unless you were only storing a few items each.

I bought the Club Vehicle Lock Box for the express purpose of securing/hiding my wallet inside my car. The inside of the box was smaller than I thought it would be. It will hold a wallet that is 7-71/2" long x 4" wide but little else. If you are looking to store cash, cell phone, camera, credit cards, keys, a navi system or a small billfold this will work . The box has some weight to it and there are two anti-traction strips on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. It fits easily under the seat of a car. It's well made and would be difficult to pry open.On the downside, it was a little difficult trying to figure out how to use the key to open the box. You must use the cable to lock the box and to open the box. I would have preferred if the box had a separate lock to open the drawer. All in all a good inexpensive way to store/secure your items; and its portable too.
