Unless I'm mistaken, it never says anywhere in the product description that this slipcover is actually three pieces instead of one. That means it won't stay in place at all! This slipcover is poorly designed and might have worked better if it had more tie down straps. Overall, I was very disappointed with this product.

TEXSTYLE STETCH RECLINER COVER.
 from Alabama,  Jan 6, 2012

Fribric is comfortable and forgiving. Easy to spot clean. Have not laundered yet. As already stated some of the seams espciall at top of back piece are split and will need reapirining when more noticeable.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Accurate color representation.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good quality for the price. Some of the seams at stress points have come apart.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Good description.

Suede Recliner Slipcover
 from NA,  Aug 31, 2010

The 4 piece suede slipcover for our leather recliner were easy to put on and fit well. My only recommendation to the manufacturer would be to include a strip of velcro at the bottom of the cover for the backrest and one on the piece that slides over the seat and footrest. That way, the two pieces could be attached where the back and seat meet and not slide out. I ended up sewing the two pieces together. I purchased this slipcover to protect our recliner while our daughter's two cats were visiting. The suede provides an extra layer of protection from sharp kitty claws. If a 4 1/2 star rating was an option, I would have used that designation.

Slipcover
from Indpls, IN,  May 7, 2010

After hearing how slipcovers are a pain to install, I was a little hesitate to purchase. However, due to the fact that I wanted a scheme change, I decided to purchase based on the good reviews this slipcover received. I ordered the Chocolate and brown is just the right shade, not too dark. I installed it so easily too. It is soft and comfortable. The new look of our recliner is a welcomed addition.

Color
from Upper Marlboro, Md,  Mar 20, 2010

The color was listed as stone, yet when the product was shipped on the ticket it stated Sandstone. I was expecting a grey color. Misleading.

Beware the picture
from South Ogden, UT,  Feb 26, 2010

First of all, I do love the way this product stretches. The problem I encountered is that it does not fit an average size la-z-boy recliner. Too short on the front a little and too narrow on the front below the arm rests. Fortunately the recliner underneath (that is showing throughout the lower front) is the same color or this would look like Kay-rap. I still have to put up with visable elastics though and that just looks granny. Also it has "helpful labels" that are sewn on the outside in the actual seam. That means if you pull them off- they will rip the seams apart. You have to do microsurgery in order to get them off and even then the seams look a little distressed. Not really happy with this kind- I'm sending the second one back. Your recliner must look exactly like the model in the picture I think to work out well.

Terrific product....
from Pittsburgh, PA,  Sep 10, 2009

This is an excellent chair cover, easy to install, comfortable to sit on, and made my favorite chair look almost new. I'm actually thinking of purchasing a second one as it is a great value too.

Not bad.
from Glendale, CA,  May 6, 2009

I liked the color and the feel of the cover - but after finally putting on the seat - couldn't figure it out right away - every time you sit on it - it comes away and you have to fix it every single time. I don't care for that but for the price - and quick fix from Navy to Sage - its good. :)

I was very pleased with this slipcover at first. It fit perfectly on my recliner and stayed in place great. Not by any fault of overstock though, my cat has made quite a work of art out of it. His nails puncture right through and leave a hole without even digging. If you have a cat with claws, just beware!

Good to look at, just don't sit on them
 from Ohio,  Mar 21, 2009

Like other reviewers, I find these slipcovers attractive......but the seats will not stay in place when a person arises. I pinned the backs and sides but haven't found a way (yet) to do the same with the seat covering. I bought two for my matching recliners but am not sure they are worth the effort for their locale...the den. They get a lot of use and replacing that seat each time is a slight nuisance.

Another Overstock Winner
from Independence, VA,  Mar 18, 2009

Slipcovers arrived quickly. Color is true, soft sage green. VERY pleased. Because of earlier reviews I was prepared to "wrestle" getting these covers on my recliners. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought is was going to be. That being said, it still took nearly an hour for each chair. - the instructions were NON-EXISTENT. Wound up going to the Surefit web site and watching their video. Think the arm sections could be a bit bigger, but otherwise everything fits nice and snug and they look great.

This is a decent product even though I gave it an average rating. It doesn't quite fit our 28 year old lazy boy in the seat cushion as there is nothing for it to tuck under in the back. Thus, it constantly rides up on the back part of the seat cushion and looks very sloppy. I also concerned about it's durability as it is a very thin material.

total transformation
from new york,  Mar 11, 2009

i ordered this cover to use on a recliner that is 20+years old-kept for sentimental reasons-and it totally transformed it! The recliner is fairly small and I was concerned that it would be very baggy- but this cover has a lot more stretch to it and fits really well. The stone color is true to the picture shown. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Great Slipcover!
 from Texas,  Feb 12, 2009

I have a small recliner that is about 25 years old and this slipcover makes it look brand new. It has button tufting on the arms, seat, and back, but the slipcover glides right over those areas and really updates it. I love the sage color and it ties in beautifully with the rest of my decor. This was my first experience using a slipcover and I was very pleased with how easy it was. All of the pieces have a tag as to where they go. The fabric is a very nice quality and stretches so you get a nice tight fit, but it isn't too thin. I was worried that my cat's claws would get hooked on it, but that has not been a problem . Best of all, it doesn't look like a slipcover. This slipcover far exceeded my expectations and looks fantastic!

Poor Seat Cover Design
 from Pennsylvania,  Dec 31, 2008

The overall cover is nice - the material is nice and seems like it will hold up; however, the seat cover does not stay on at all. It will not tuck back into the recliner and stay there.

IT WAS LABELED FRONT AND BACK AND I HAD NO PROBLEM PUTTING IT ON AND THE COLOR IS GREAT I PURCHASED THE CHOCOLATE COLOR. IT IS VERY SOFT AND DURABLE I LOVE THIS PURCHASE AND IT WAS VERY AFFORDABLE AND THE QUALITY IS GOOD.
