Tessa Bar Chairs (Set of 2)

I ordered two of these chairs to use in our newly remodeled kitchen at the end of the kitchen island. Pros: Very sturdy, confortable, low-profile, fast and easy to assemble, arrived fast and in perfect condition, great price Cons: I believe the chairs were listed as "countertop height" but they are bit high for standard countertops. (They fit under the countertop overhang on our kitchen island, and sitting there was comfortable, but you couldn't cross your legs and you had to bend over pretty far to eat something like a bowl of cereal.) Luckily, this was easily remidied by cutting off 2" from each leg using a pipe cutter, and it only took about 15 minutes, after the stools were assembled. Note: I ordered the "natural" finish on the chairs and was hoping for more of a light, natural-looking wood finish. While the color is sort of natural-looking it's best described as more uniform yellowy-orange as opposed to a light wood grain. The color swatch on screen is fairly accurate. Still I'm very happy with the purchase as I expect these chairs to get some HARD use from my two young children. They'd get 5 stars if they came out with a lighter wood finish!

The quality of these barstools is awsome. I ordered them for my daughters new apartment and they are just perfect. The description is what you get which is a good thing when you are buying sight unseen. I would highly recommend these barstools.

Very impressed with these chairs for the most part. Much sturdier than I expected, and they look terrific in a modern style kitchen. I have had problem with one of the hex screws continuously popping out of the legs of one of the chairs. Other than that, they are exceptional.

The chairs are nice looking and comfortable. One leg base came with uneven legs and wobbles. I am working with the chair manufacturer for a replacement leg stand. If legs sat flat...would have given these chairs 5 stars.
