The Tessa 8 piece dining set is exactly how it appeared on the website and it looks great! Besides for the hutch, everything else like the table and chairs require assembly.

This table was my foray from cheap to chic. My dining room was the only room in the house with literally only pictures on the wall. Since I was using the kitchen bar area to eat, I kept putting it off decorating the dining room. After looking around town, a friend told me to check out Overstock.com, and this set sold me. The dark wood, combined with microfiber, bring a strong warmth to the room, but most importantly, now the pictures on the wall finally have company!

I really feel like I have finally arrived with this dining room set. Before I basically had some hand me down kitchen table. But this dining room set really looks great. The has great style. The chairs make a bold statement. And the little table and hutch are just what I was looking for. There is no doubt about it, I would highly recommed this dining set to just about anyone.

What a great price for a great dining set. This one not only has a table and six chairs but a hutch as well. The ash veneer on the table and hutch looks so rich, and yet tastefully simple. The microfiber upholstery on the dining chairs is comfortable?even the kids enjoy sitting at the dining table now. I won?t say they eat all their peas, but at least they eat a few more. I look forward to using this dining room table and chairs for years to come.

This is exactly what I was looking for - very modern look. The table and hutch are very sturdy and well made - nice and heavy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the middle drawer of the hutch will not stay closed. I have 6 chairs around the table, without the extensions; they fit fine.

I ordered the Tessa 8-piece Dining Set with Hutch and Extension Table and am very happy. The table looks great, the chairs look great, and the server looks great. I think the extensions are a little funny b/c they attache to the end of the table (rather than serve as leafs), but it is nice that the table has the option to extend. My extensions came in a color that didn't match the table and one was defective. I was able to exchange the extensions for ones that matched and worked. My server is a little lighter in color than the table, but it is not noticeable b/c they are separated slighlty in the room. The table was slightly smaller than I thought, but 6 people fit fine without the extensions (though we use the server to store the food b/c I don't think 6 people and food would fit at the table). Overall, I'm very happy wtih the look and value of this set!

I'm rather picky when it comes to the furniture I purchase, so I was slighty hesistant to make such a large purchase online without seeing it in person first. This set definitely did not dissapoint one bit. Everything is very solid and very heavy, and it wasn't hard to put everything together. Air tools really come in handy. It took a little bit of time to get the chair legs to be square when stting on a hardwood floor, however, if they are sitting on an area rug you will never have any problems with wobble. Overall, this is a great set.

The hutch arrived assembled which was nice. However, the handles were attached but on the inside of the drawer. I guess to protect them and when we took them off to put them on the outside, marks were made from the screws. One of the doors on the hutch was a little off and we had to reattach part of the back panel. Not really a big deal considering the price. The furniture is very heavy and looks fabulous. Chairs are very easy to assemble. We bought two extra chairs to seat 8. It is possible to seat 8, but could be tight squeeze in some situations as the table is a little smaller in size than what we are used to having. Overall, great purchase for the price.

Although I didn't love attaching the legs to the chairs and all that, it was completely worth it. Make sure you pay attention to the legs and make sure they're facing the correct way. This is a beautiful set. I told my hubby that if the sideboard was a man I'd marry it. It's gorgeous! My kids love the soft chairs and how comfy they are.Note to buyers - the leaves for the extensions are not self-storing. I couldn't tell if they were or not by the description. They fit nicely in the sideboard though if you're worried about storing them.

I ordered these chairs on a Monday and got them on a Wednesday. They are awesome. I was ordering two extra ones because I already own the table and chair set, which is also excellent. I think I own most of the Dolce set including the living room furniture and office. Very nice solid wood furniture and it will last forever.

Just as pictured. Chairs are actually rather comfortable and the hutch is lovely and well made.

We just received this set yesterday and already have it put together. It comes in many pieces but is very easy to assemble. It is absolutely gorgeous and very high quality. Every piece is heavy, solid wood. The chairs are very comfortable and well made. Overall, excellent craftsmanship. We would recommend this set to anyone looking for a contemporary, simple, classy dining room. Great first experience with Overstock!

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DINING SETS WE HAVE SEEN, EITHER IN STORES OR PEOPLES HOMES. GREAT PRICE. EASY ASSEMBLY. WE WERE SPEECHLESS WHEN WE SAW IT IN PERSON. PHOTOS DO NOT DO THIS ONE JUSTICE.

I searched for a dining room set from several places. Others offered particle board and veneer at triple the price. I like it's solid wood and environmentally friendly. I ordered the table, 6 chairs, and buffet. For the price, I'm very happy. If my kids destroy it, which they probably will, I won't freak out and it looks great in the meantime. The table is smaller than I anticipated and it will be tough to fit 6 around it comfortably.

The dining room set is how it appears in the picture. The chair covers are soft and feel like suede. They are taupe color. My husband assembled the piece rather easily. He had to reassemble several of the front chair legs to make them all identical. I really like the set. Terrific deal for its price.

Overall the set is very nice. The fabric on the chairs its a little more gold than I expected...but we love the set.

The hutch is beautiful. Only one of the chairs is straight. I have taken it apart several times and the chairs are still uneven. Some of the chair legs are longer than the other.
