The cushion is firm, the terry cloth is soft. It worked very well for my purposes, which is primarily extra posture support. The ones I received were made very well, and I expect to have them around for a long time.

The neckroll pillows are perfect for my use in the tub. Unforunately I had purchased the pillows for my husband, who loves to sleep with a neckroll pillow. He felt that the pillows were to small for bed use and didnot like the terry clothe fabric for sleeping. Anyone looking for a bath pillow will appreciate the size. It would have been great if the size was listed in the description, in which case I would not have made the purchase.
I bought these to use in place of pillows when we move, until our furniture gets there. They were easy to pack in a suitcase for flying. You can use them on the plane. We used them at the new house and slept on the floor. Thery were extremely comfortable and helped with my neck problems. I would recommend this for anyone who likes to sleep during travel. We LOVE it!!
