I ordered this rug for my bedroom, and it is a great fit! The chocolate brown is the perfect shade, although you should know that there is no cream, tan, or any other shade of brown in this rug. The blocks that look lighter are in fact a mixture of threads, with the chocolate brown and off-white coming together in various concentrations to form lighter squares. There are NO other shades of brown thread in this rug...just chocolate and off-white. There are some darker brown "looking" squares because the threads are mostly chocolate with just a little off-white mixed in, and the lighter squares are more off-white threads with just a little chocolate mixed in. I was expecting more shades, but my bed covers up most of it and like I said, the chocolate is perfect. I would definitely recommend this rug, as long as you aren't looking for tan or creamy accents.

You cannot beat this price! This rug covers pretty much my entire family room and I've had it now for 3 years. Its lasted through kids, family parties, and spills. No shedding! Love it!!!

This rug is as what other reviewers said it would be. It is multi dimensional, has a great value, good price. It has various flavors of chocolate brown and looks great. It definitely added warmth to my room.No rug pad is needed for this rug. It is a pretty heavy rug and laid flat on the very first day. The rug has beige too. I am not sure why one of the reviewers said there is no beige at all. Some of the squares are beige.

This rug is worth a lot more than it is priced. It is gorgeous and I am very happy with the quality and design. I received it very quickly also.

We looked for a larger area rug for forever! No where have I seen an 8x11 rug for such a great price!! Plus the delivery couldn't have been better. The rug was delivered by Fed Ex in the same week I ordered it, can't ask for more! The rug looks great in our large living room. I thought it would be a little softer then it is but a rug pad made all the difference. It is a great quality and I love the way the squares are raised or lowered throughout the rug. The texture is great, my little boy loves the way it feels on his feet. This was our first purchase on overstock.com and it won't be our last. You won't be sorry with this rug, it adds so much character to a room.

The quality of this rug is outstanding, which is difficult to see from the photos. Very soft, great colors, and lies flat after a few days under the furniture. Makes my Manhattan apartment feel like a home!
