This is the second one I have purchased. The first one was for myself, and this one is for a gift. The color of the wood is a little darker than what is shown . Since these are handmade , it adds to the rustic look.The grain in the wood is very pretty, and not all of the sections line up perfectly. This adds more texture to the surface.The photo shown is a good one, accept for the color.
