This is a great tea kettle it holds more water than some tea kettles that I have had in the past overall it is a great product and would recommend this item to anyone who likes tea; the water stays hot for more than one hour and thank overstock for offering this item on their site. thank you so much!

I didn't realize it would take both hands to use. Having to hold and lift the spout takes both hands when pouring.

I was very please with the size and visual quality of the tea kettle. What I wasn't pleased with was the fact that on the inside around the nail there was indication of rusting. I was under the assumption that the product was 100% stainless steel.

Kettle showed rust deposits in less than one month of use!

Regularly the top of the spout pops off when the water boils and steams.

I'm happy w/this kettle - it's a little bigger than I thought it would be which is ok..I think the price is a little high but I needed one & knew from Overstock it would be good quality. I would buy again.

I had a hard time deciding whether to get this 2qt. stainless steel tea kettle or the bigger 3qt.stainless steel tea kettle. I think the 2 qt. size is just right. It is not too heavy when full of water. It seems like it takes quite awhile for the whistle to blow, but when it does you know it is hot. It looks very pretty on top of my stainless steel stove.

for the money, this product could have been made better. Color changed from blue to purple. It doesn't whistle near as good as when new.

product pretty much as expected.:lightweight, attractive, easy to use. Picture seems to indicate that there is some kind of a black design,of course the kettle is merely staniless steel.

Excellent product except that whistle could be a little louder. Hard to hear from 2 rooms away.

Good workmanship, and looks great on stove top. Cleans up easy if something splatters on it. My only problem with this product is the handel is not very insulated, so you do need to use a pot holder when removing from stove top and for pouring. The thing I like most about this kettle is that it is very retro, looks like the one that was on our kitchen stove while I was growing up.

This product holds 2.5 quarts in volume of water. It is a product made with stainless steel. It's light weight even at full capacity. The boiling 'whistle' indicator is flawed as it will only signal water readiness in a rather checkered manner. (i.e. sometimes it makes no sound) Generally, the product will probably cease to be functional in a relatively short period of time. It's paper thin in construction and will only allow super heating for a limited number of uses. Shorter life if subjected to high heat and allowed to boil away liquid. We use it for liquid preparations. Useful for the present.

This tea kettle is wonderful. I love the covered handle. I can pick up the kettle without hot pads! It heats the water so fast I couldn't believe it compared to my last tea kettle. Also I really wanted the whistling feature so as I get distracted with the kids I wouldn't forget that I was heating water for my tea or hot chocolate!

The kettle is nice looking. But it leaks when pouring if full. The whistle is not as loud as I need. But we use it for now till I buy one from France. Sorry I feel I was fooled with poor quality. China junk again have to be more careful from now on. Ask where it is made always.................

This tea kettle is working out fine. It has a nice sounding whistle you can hear anywhere, so you never worry about forgetting and boiling dry the water and the kettle! It is a pretty kettle and I like the fact that it's light weight. It has a non-metal handle easy to pick up.

Boiling water on the stove takes a long time, and it isn't convenient for anyone on the go. It might be time for you to invest in an electric kettle.
