The item weighs measurements digitally correct however I believe I need a digital postal scale and didn't realize it. I need the read out to be in _.__'s. Instead this scale gives readouts by 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 5/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 and whole numbers. So because I need measurements to the exact 3.28 for example, I need the postal scale I'm told. I also like the tare feature. There is nothing wrong with the unit except it works well for food items. I make soap.
