Awesome Bed
Bed is beautiful, simple and sturdy...SUPER easy to put together and despite what the other review says...if you read the directions you'll find that there are enough screws included as you are only to use them for specific slates in the bed frame. I do agree though this is NOT EXPRESSO colored...its more of a cherry wood (reddish). The color didn't matter so much to me but for those trying to match other furnishing this could be a problem potentially.

What A Great Buy!
I would still think this bed was a deal, had I paid $50 more. First off...it's real wood--not a laminated pressboard. Secondly, it is sturdy and sleek. And thirdly, the directions were straight-forward and easy to follow. Granted...it comes in a bunch of pieces and takes a good couple of hours to assemble, but once together, it is solid as a rock and elegant to boot!

Fantastic O.co deal
Excellent quality. True hardwoods all the way, well finished, and with slightly rounded edges that don't get dinged as easily (and don't hurt your shins quite as much if you ever accidentally kick into it). Beautiful finish. Rock solid stability. Easy to put together, take apart, and put together again (we moved shortly after initially buying it - easy).

Support legs need love
Excellent frame, however : 1. Support legs have adjustable pin pads that are not easy to adjust and some wont budge at all. 2. Support beams are not the same wood as the bed (I expected this) but they come pre-splintered. Meaning the grain are coming off all over, plus most of the hardware had what ever grease cleaner they used on them. The smell was overwhelming for the first few days. With that said, I have had no issues out of this frame. No squeaking, even when i try :), and no signs of wear.

all wood but over priced
The wood pieces are thin and the entire frame was disappointing. It was not as sturdy as it should be for the price I paid. This should have been sold for closer to ***. for the quality.

Bed looks good but difficult to put together
My only real complaint is that the holes in the slats did NOT match ANY hole on the frames of the bed. I had to have a friend come over and help me finish putting the bed together. He had to drill new holes in the slats because they didn't match a single one of the pre-drilled holes on the bed frame. The center slat was a tiny bit easier, however, when it came time to put the screws into it with the included allen wrench, only two of the screws went in. My friend had to force the rest in the center slat holes because for some reason, the screws that came with it didn't fit. It really takes two people to put this bed together because one needs to hold up the side frames while the other person puts the screws in. I did that part by myself and it took almost 45 minutes to complete the sides. I stood in between the slats trying to put the screws in the center slat and got splinters in my legs for my trouble. The slats are NOT sanded or varnished like the bed frame so beware. Ultimately, the bed looks good but I am planning to add steel clamps to the corners to ensure the bed doesn't come apart down the road.

Construction quality is excellent.
We are pleased with the quality of the bed frame we ordered. It was shipped in time frame promised. The shipping boxes were sturdy boxes and everything came undamaged.

Just Won't Stay Together
This was a great bed, until any one of the 4 middle support beams began falling down. And they are NOT in an easy place to fix. They fell down so many times that I gave up, and eventually the slate across the frame has cracked and broken. I've had the middle beams fully replaced by professionals several times, and they always fall down. Now my bed dips which is incredibly annoying. Do yourself a favor and spend more money on a better bed. This one was good for about a year and a half and it's now just a wreck.

Solid construction
I love the quality of this bed, however, I have difficulty keeping the support pieces to stay in. The feet catch on the berber carpet when I pull the bed out and it's a hassle to get them back in place. Otherwise, I love it.
