The colors are definitely not as described in the picture. I felt like returning them but the hassle deterred me. I'm very dissappointed in both of them as I also got the "red" center. The color is more like a very dark burgundy for the red and BROWN for the "tangerine".

Although some may have expected a more satiny finish, this product is very accurately represented by the photos and descriptions online. They are attractive and tasteful and are well-made as well.
