The table looks just as nice as the picture. It was a well made table. The only issue I had was putting it together required at least 3 hours by a handlyman. If you are not handly, don't even attempt to do it. It will frustrate you.

I agree with the other reviewers; it's a gorgeous piece and very heavy and richly colored wood, but this is a NIGHTMARE to assemble. I am on day two and hour 4 or 5 of trying to get this thing together. The table top of mine is teetering on the screws and wooden holders (not sure if it's supposed to sit flush or have this elevation to it). Last night when we were sleeping, we took bets on whether or not it would be in 100 pieces on the ground when we woke up. I will use it as a console table but lord knows I can't move it because I think it will fall apart. I can't get one draw in at all and the wood has split in many of the places where screws were inserted into. Not my best Overstock purchase and very frustrating so only gets 3 stars despite how pretty it is.

I bought this table for my foyer and it fits really well with our arts & craft style. Assembly took about 1 1/2 hours. One person can assemble most of it, but when adding the table top and shelf, its best to have 2 people.The craftsmanship is very solid and does not look like a cheap piece of furniture. The only downside I have found is the drawers are a little small, so you can't store much in them. Overall, I recommend this product. I don't think you could find a table like this for less money.

I have been looking for a table with these dimensions for many years. It is exactly the type of console table I wanted. It did take almost 2 hours to put together but it wasn't difficult.....just time consuming. There were a couple scratches on the wood but in places that are not seen when the table is in place so no big deal. The table was what I expected at a fair price.

This was the best item I have ever purchased online. The Table was easy to put together. IT only took me about 1 1/2- 2 hrs by myself and I didn't even need my husband! It is a little heavy, but that's great because it's really wood and not cheap ply board.

It is a beautiful table. We didn't notice the scratch until after it was assembled. We used some Old English to cover the scratch and it worked well enough. I love the table.

This is a wider and taller console than many available. It worked perfectly as an entry console in our relatively large front entry. It is a perfect accessory for a craftsman style interior but would work well with many others.

This is a beauthiful, functional table that was purchased along with an end table. I would recommend both pieces to my friends, however, I would have to say that the console table presented some difficulty with the tabletop installation. The instructions that came with the table could have been more instructional. Once assembled, the console table is one to be proud to own and display.

Although this table was a bear to put together (came in maybe 50 pieces) and took me most of the afternoon, I am in love with the end product. The table is very sturdy and able to hold someone sitting on it. The drawers don't quite fit together 100% as the wooden pegs holding it together are a little too big for the predrilled holes. However, the drawers fit nicely into the table creating a beautiful product on the outside. I've received lots of positive comments and I am very happy with the purchase. I would definitely recommend!

After searching for weeks for the perfect console table for my new flat screen, I came across this table. Reading all the positive reviews from other people who bought the table, I decided this table would be worth the time to assemble. I am so glad I chose it! I took my husband 3 hours to assemble it but it is beautiful! This is a great piece of furniture! Durable, heavy, and looks far more expensive than it really is.

Upon receiving the Talisman 3-drawer Console table I was totally satisfied. I could not believe the quality of the table for the price. The table was an excellent value. There was a piece missing, i reguested piece on line. The missing piece arrived within 3 days...fast. It was very easy to request the missing piece. It took about 1.5 hours to built the console by two adults. It was not difficult to built. Overall i was very satisfy with the product and will continue to order merchandise form Overstock!

This table arrives in 2 enormous boxes. One weighs 68 pounds, the other around 40. Be prepared to haul them inside. It is packaged extremely well..no damage whatsoever. It takes some time to assemble, but isn't impossible. The instructions are straightforward. I assembled the drawers while my husband did the rest. He took a little extra time, as he glued the frame structure before the final assembly. He had to trim a couple of pegs (dowels) in order to make the top fit on the base. That was the only snafu in all the assembly. It is much easier for two to put the top on, as it is quite heavy, but wouldn't be impossible for one person. There are extra parts included for every piece of hardware. We love the table. It is substantial in it's measurements (deeper than nearly all tables we looked at, coming in at 19"), and it's weight. We have a very heavy lamp that we put on one end, and there is NO fear of it toppling. If you like the style, we highly recommend it.

I love the table. I was weary because some of the reviews say it's difficult to put together, but it really isn't. If you follow the steps in order and exactly, it's actually pretty easy. You just need a screwdriver, maybe a rubber mallet to help with the wooden dowels, and about two hours of spare time to put it together. It really takes about two people though. It's great and def worth the price though. I seen similar tables for $400 and up at other stores.

Because the reviews of this product said that assembly was difficult, we hired someone to do the assembly for us. After opening the boxes we had received he informed us that we needed to return one of the two Box B's and order a Box A. By the time we got the correct order and scheduled assembly it was 6 weeks later. Factoring in the time element, an extra trip and cost for our man to assemble the console table, and the cost to dispose of the extra Box B, the cost was not the deal we thought it would be.
