I am so happy with this console. The color is a lovely espresso, and the styling is the contemporary look that I wanted. There is a lot of room in two side cabinets, and I was happily surprised to find that the two deep drawers can serve as adjustable file cabinets. My friend, who put the console together, said that the directions were clear and easy to understand. It was also packed incredibly well. Great product!

We received this piece a week ago. The unit was well packed and arrived without a scratch. Took us about 4 hours to put together. All hardware and screws were packed separately and labeled. Extra were provided. The quality was exceptional and just as pictured. The drawers glide well and are substantial in storage area. File holders are also included. The glass doors fit well and the matching handles are very modern in styling. We are using it as a credenza. It will become our favorite piece of furniture.

We were looking for a wide entertainment center but had a hard time finding anything more than 60" wide until we found this. Like everyone else, it took several pain staking hours to put together, but the end product came out nice. I do think the standard hardware and base look very cheap but those can be fixed by ordering new handles and spraying the base with a glossy black paint. Shipping was also very fast (less than a week!). All in all, I am very happy with this piece of furniture!!!

I never take the time to write reviews, but I am so happy with this piece I just thought I should. I bought this to use as a TV stand for our 54"plasma tv, and it looks awesome. The piece took about a week to arrive in 3 boxes, packed very well. The boxes were a little tattered looking, but everything inside was fine. I (female) assembled this almost all by myself, except for when I had to turn it upright and move it into position-very heavy. I have assembled furniture before and the directions were good, but as other reviews said, it takes a long time to assemble. They gave extra hardware, except did not give me quite enough cams, but I did without two in the middle sections of one drawer, and I think it will be okay. I had to drill a hole in the back in order to get TV/component wires through, but I expected to do this since it is really a sideboard. This piece is real wood, beautiful dark brown finish and I love the modern look. What I got for the money is fantastic and the piece does look just as it is pictured. I priced lots of other pieces similar in size and design and this was cheaper and better looking than any other I found! It is my favorite piece of furniture in my house!! I would highly recommend this.

This piece is beautiful, heavy, and just plain gorgeous!!! It took my husband 5-6 hours to put together. He said it was easy, but time consuming. This is a dark brown finish, that I love. The metal frame does look white, but I think it makes the dark brown pop. LOVE IT!!

I had been looking for a transitional unit to use as a tv stand and this worked great. The wood finishes are what I expected from a rubber wood--they are soft, but look good. Putting it together wasn't really difficult but does take some time due to the size of the unit. It did take a few tries to hang the doors so they were square--the pre-drilled holes weren't exactly square.

I purchased this cabinet because it was one of the only ones that I could find that was 83' long. It assembled easily, it looks nice, and was reasonably priced. It's nice and heavy, and was well represented on the product description.

We are very happy with this cabinet. It is the exact size that we was looking for and fits perfectly beneath framed recessed nook that houses our wall-mounted flat panel tv. We didn't want a low tv stand, so it took forever to find something that was over 30" in height. This is perfect at a height of 32" and is almost as tall as our sofa table (both are chocolate brown and look almost like they came from the same furniture collection). These two pieces along with our couch frames our tv area beautifully. As others have said, assembly took several hours. It actually took us two days because we had dinner plans on the first day and had to leave about two hours into the assembly. The next day, we spent about 3 more hours on it. The time it took to put this piece together was well worth it though. It is made of solid wood, the pieces all fit nicely together and is very sturdy. It's sleek, modern and provides plenty of storage space so we can keep our entertainment area tidy and organized. I've purchased many things from Overstock and I have to say that I have yet to be disappointed (knock on wood!). Overstock's prices are reasonable for the high quality (definitely better than what you'd get if you bought similar pieces in big box stores). The shipping is fast and for about $3 (even for large furniture such as this one --- which came in 3 separate and very heavy boxes), you just can't beat it!

We are very pleased with this purchase. It is a good quality cabinet. The color is more brownish than redish color that shown in the picture. The instruction was good but we still took a couple of hours to assemble it.

We were looking for a long credenza that would fit well in an old house's living room with some mid-century furniture. Aside from finding others that were quite a bit more expensive this fit our requirements perfectly. A little hesitant about the brushed chrome legs but not an issue and even now has become a positive attribute. Great storage; the glass doors allow all the technology to be hidden yet accessible by remotes. The piece was delivered by a super nice UPS guy in three separate, VERY HEAVY boxes. My husband opened the boxes and spread out all the pieces and I was scared! There were that many pieces. He's handy and got it together nicely (doors aligned, draweres ran smooth, solid finish, etc). If I didn't have him, I would have had to phone a friend or get a carpenter. We are extremely pleased! Thanks~

I have to say I was skeptical about this. The price had me thinking it would be laminated.... it's solid wood. The previous reviews about assembly had me scared a bit as well. I am a woman, pretty handy and able to follow directions - so, starting on a friday afternoon I began assembling it - BY MYSELF! I worked on it a couple of hours on Friday, then a couple of Saturday. All in all I think it took me about 4-5 hours to assemble. I messed about with the door hinges a little longer than most would - but i wanted them to have perfectly. It looks great. One thing I would recommend is waiting to put on the back panel until you know the specific components you are putting inside. I put the panel on and then had to take it off once I was ready to put in the DVR, blu ray, etc. The back panel is two pieces held together by very strong tape - so i just attached the lower half and let the upper half hang open when i put the equipment inside. The reason I got this is so that I could have storage for files and equipment for television - and this is perfect. I live in a loft in downtown Los Angeles, which has zero storage. This cabinet is solid. I can't believe the price. One complaint? I would have paid $300 to have white glove delivery.....

We're very happy with this piece. MANY pieces to put together, nothing was missing. Take your time and pay attention to "front" and "back" sides of the pieces. It's elegant, clean looking, solid. Wish there were more pieces to match it.

This being our first furniture purchase online, we are very happy with the quality of the piece. It did take a while to put together, but the biggest issue I have with it is the doors not aligning perfectly even after adjusting them best we could.

My husband and I spent a long time trying to find a TV stand in this length. This piece of furniture isn't only quality, but stylish and very modern. I would recommend this product 100%. If you are considering buying this piece, hesitate no more. It is everything you are hoping for and then some. There is nothing cheap about this product....for the price, I was afraid I'd be disappointed as looking at products in this price range in stores, you find a lot of junk. I would have expected to pay twice the price if I had found this in a store. It arrived very quickly in perfect condition. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put it together...him doing the actual assembling and me reading the directions and finding all the proper pieces/hardware for him. While that is quite a bit of time, it's not because it is difficult to follow the instructions, it's because there are quite a few pieces to it. It works best to spread the pieces out in a large, carpeted room. It takes quite a bit of space to assemble because this is a very big piece of furniture. We will be using this as an entertainment center so my husband is planning to put some vents in the back to keep things cool. Also, if you don't like the silver stand it sits on, you would be able to sit it directly on the floor and not use the stand. I happen to like the stand...but it is an option.
