We use these lamps on our nightstands. They are the right height, offer good bedside light and are subtly elegant. The picture accurately captures their appearance.
We bought two of these lamps for our shared office and love them more now than when they arrived. Their appearance is accurately depicted by the picture; they are sleek simple and offer file space. The light provided is good, but not--as one would assume--as good as a desk lamp that offers directed light. (We have both.)

These lamps look great with our tropical décor. Very pleased with my purchase; however, the 3-way bulbs did not work (they were new bulbs.)
