  I would have given this lamp 5 stars, but a vertical piece of trim on the front corner of the lamp was not attached. It appears that the vertical strips of trim are glued on and not sewn on, which was disappointing. I did not want to deal with the hassle of sending the lamp back (because it is large), so I just turned the damaged part of the shade toward the wall, so now the beautiful tassel can't be seen. Despite this issue, with the damaged trim hidden, the lamp looks beautiful.

  Bought two. The first had a chip on top of the frosted interior glass piece, and there was a manufacturing defect because it had an ugly marbled look on the top that was not supposed to be there. The second lamp had a broken weld on the cage. Switched the second frosted interior shade to cage that's not broken. Have to return the one broken lamp. Cool-looking lamp, though. Quality is just not great.

  Oh thank heaven I finally found the lamps for my bedroom remodel. I was a bit challenged trying to find the right color, size and style. My bedroom is all purple hues and these match perfectly! I will say the base is not black but silver instead which I preferred. They add a look of sophistication and a pop of color. As far as other reviewers comments about the lamp shades, they are a dark color. If you want bright, bright, light, go buy a white lamp shade instead! For my bedroom, a little mood lighting is my preference. I am an avid shopper when it comes to home goods and for the price, they are a bargain. I also bought the floor lamp and am equally pleased. They arrived two days within ordering and the assembly process was a piece of cake.
