Can I use this on my adjustable bed by not using the slats? Can I unscrew the rails and leave the wooden decorative sides?pattioreocookie on Feb 17, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Yes you can use your adjustable bed but you can just unscrew the railing and leave the wooden decorative sides.overstockcustomercare1 on Feb 20, 2013
No. Simple as that.
There is simply not enough support or slats to use anything other than a basic mattress. I can't imagine that an adjustable bed would work.kathleen22060 on Apr 4, 2013
on this bed it says CORPORATE SPECIALISTS SDN BHD CALIFORNIA 93120 COMPLAINT FOR FORMALDEHYDE. what does this mean?nadiamiss on Jan 29, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
That is a great question. It means that the amount of formaldehyde off gassing from the product at 73 degrees in a room that has one air exchange per hour will be at or below the CA standard. Because of energy conservation measures the typical CA home takes about 6 hours to exchange the air one time. Also if you cool to 78 degrees or have in on an exterior wall the amount of off gassing increases. The rate of off gassing approximately doubles with every 10 degree increase in temperature.

Do I need a box spring to buy this bedframe? I have a mattress but no box spring. Thank you so much! on Sep 20, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
I just had this delivered yesterday and am using it with by new foam bed that just got here yesterday as well.
I am NOT using a box-spring, however you need to pick up a bunkie board or put a lot more wooden slats on the bottom, as there are only three narrow and flimsy slats.
HOWEVER, it is FANTASTIC...gorgeous, solid enough, incredible price for something that looks and seems far more expensive.
For these reasons I highly recommend it, even tho' you have to be inconvenienced by running to Home Depot or lumber yard. But in answer to your question, no box-spring require as the height is perfect for your basic mattress. I don't know why you wouldn't want a box-spring however, as that is the best way to enjoy a normal mattress with coils.
IF however, you have either a memory-foam or latex mattress, the box-spring is not necessary but just put a board or slats down.
LOVE the bed!kathleen22060 on Apr 4, 2013
Does the picture show how the bed will look with a mattress sitting on box springs? Do the side rails hide the box springs?thenightfamily on Aug 31, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
