  • Comfy and stylish

    This is the chair everyone gravitates to when they want to relax. It is SO comfortable! It was also super easy to put together and the legs feel very solid. The leather is top quality and the fabric looks durable. The color of the fabric is more beige than on the picture but it's like tan specks in it, not a solid beige. The dark brown wood legs on the chair looks great next to my dark brown leather sofas. It fills the space nicely with the ottoman. This is the type of chair that looks unique and really adds a touch of sophistication to the room since it looks so modern and sleek. Prepare to get lots of compliments on it!

  • Excellent choice

    The chair with the matching ottoman arrived promptly and both my daughter and I were very pleased with it. The required assembly simply involved attaching the legs which was easy to do. Our relatives who saw it could not believe that such an item was ordered online from Overstock.com. The upholstery of the chair is firm, but comfortable. The colors are as expected from the picture on line. Indeed, it is a very good buy!

    It's a good piece of furniture for the price. It is an interesting, nicely sized (but not over-large) chair that fills the space well. I don't love the fabric, a kind of soft nubby velour feel, not faux suede, but otherwise it is fine. Easy to assemble, took my husband about 15 minutes to put on the legs using his own tools. People like to sit in it because it looks interesting, but it is not the most comfortable chair in the room.

  • Even better than I thought it would be!

    As other reviewers said, this chair is surprisingly comfortable for all ages/heights, and it is truly striking in appearance. I love that it is so different than accent chairs I have seen in furniture stores - it really stands out. We have a more contemporary style and it is a beautiful addition to our living room. The curved shape is modern but warm. Fast shipping and well-packed, Highly recommended!

  • So glad I took the plunge and ordered this chair.

    I had never ordered anything to sit on without testing it out in person. I read many of the previous reviews and because the look, size and shape of the chair was just what I needed I decided to take a chance. The chair is great. It looks good, I can pull the ottoman to other locations if needed and most importantly to me-it's very comfortable. We have one friend who has already claimed it as his chair when he visits. I'm so glad I got this one!

  • Soooo Comfortable.

    We bought two of these chairs for our newly refinished basement. They are comfortable for both myself (5' 3") and my husband (6' 1"). We found the material to be soft and the very easy to clean. We are delighted with our purchase.

  • Comfortable Chair

    I love this chair. I put it together in about 15 minutes and it's probably the most comfortable chair in our house! The men love it as well. I would absolutely recommend buying this chair. Great price and well worth the money, very sturdy as well!

  • Very cool!

    Although not something i would sit in for hours, they are stunning show pieces, and perfect for that entertainment space that is used for a few hours when guests visit. Small throw pillow needed for back support. Used two beige chairs (golden beige) to decorate living room, which is dark, craftsman style. Put house up for sale; every realtor and guest commented on how stunningly beautiful these two chairs looked across from chenille/paisley sofa (darki brown leather trim, gold/red paisley).

  • Stylish

    Comfy, stylish, unique chair. The legs of ottoman are not even in length or maybe there is something else is wrong, but it is not stable on flat surface.

I understand that the chair has a depth of 33 inches, but how far is the sitting depth? What is the distance from the front of the chair to the back where a person would sit? Thank you for your interest in the ETHAN HOME Albury Two-Tone Lounging Chair with Ottoman and to answer your conundrum, we take a measurement from the top of the end were the seat is and create a straight plain back and that is the measurement of 33 inches. The rest of the chair rides out mabey another inch so if you put it up against a wall it would stick out a total of 34 inches.
