We use these calipers very hard and often and they stand up very well. The batteries seem to last about a month when you keep them on practically all day. The tolerance is very tight also, holding within +/- 0.001" when measuring boards 0.33" by 3.000".

Seem like a good value. But it's a good thing they came with an extra battery - the one installed was dead!
