    I was happy to see the "Made in USA" logo when I was shopping for an ice cream maker on this model. The price was great and I decided to buy this particular item for the sole fact that it was made here in the USA. I was extremely disappointed to discover that this item was in fact MADE IN CHINA! upon it's arrival today. It's being returned and I will continue to shop for a product that is HONESTLY made here in the USA. To Overstock.com people: please do not advertise items as made in the USA unless they truly are. Thank you

  • T-Fal Ice cream

    Save the box, you will need it to store this thing.. It does not stack well when not in use, and takes up a lot of space. The freezer bowl takes a FULL 24 hours to chill, so they recommend leaving it in the freezer. Nope, you cant put your ice in it while its in there, the ice will fuse itself to the bowl. So a major space sucker in the freezer, unless your craving for ice cream comes with a 24 hour advance notice. The performance is very nice, and it makes 2 decent bowlfuls. You can freeze the leftovers, but they will freeze rock hard. Still, a nice treat, way less expensive and better quality than store-bought ice cream, you can play with varieties, and even use sweetener vs sugar to make it a little more guilt-free.
