A mirror on one side and shelves on the other? Very clever. It suited my needs perfectly. I loved that it came already assembled. I love it.

I've been needing a full length mirror for the longest time, and after doing a lot of research, I realized that buying a full length stand-alone mirror almost cost the same as this bookcase which is a LOT more practical. You have the mirror AND storage. All of my friends have seen it and think it's a really nifty piece that I bought. They did take their sweet time with the delivery (but to be fair it does say it'll take 1-6 wks), it came in one piece, the delivery guy was sweet enough to help us move into the bedroom and unpack it and put it in place (which actually they're not required to do). It came in one piece, there were a literally two "scratches" (for lack of a better word), but they were on the inside of the shelf so we didn't bother too much with it, either way we're stuffing those shelves with books. It is a bit wobbly on carpet, but we put so many heavy books on the bottom shelves that we're not worried at all about it tipping over or anything (then again we don't have any kids).To sum this up, I think this is an excellent buy and I definitely recommend it to anyone!

it is looks even better then the picture...holds a nice amount of books. The shipping took a little while to get here, but other then that, it was already assembled and we love it!

We ordered it for a corner of our bedroom and it worked out wonderfully. It is great with storage behind the mirror. Best of all, it came assembled and was easy to take out and put in place by myself (petite woman). My only concern is if you have children, you need to be careful about its placement.

I purchased three of these bookcases early this year but waited to submit a review as paying this much was a stretch and I wanted to make sure that the value was there. It is, these are quality hardwood furniture with a deep expresso bean finish (almost black) that accent my living room beautifully. I downsided into a townhouse recently and desperately needed bookcases. The mirrored reverse side faces the room, hiding my clutter and providing reflected light in my small space. The mirrors are good aspect with minimal distortion so I get a realistic full-length reflection and the swivel lets me adjust the type and amount of light that's reflected. The bookcases arrived quickly without damage, a good thing since the shipper delivered into my carport when we weren't home. They are very heavy and difficult to move once unwrapped so you may need two people to manuever them around. We tried placing them in several different locations before settling on both sides of the fireplace. They hold all my cookbooks (lots!) plus several baskets & bowls that I used to store on top of my kitchen cabinets where they got dusty and were hard to reach.The only thing I missed when considering whether these were right for me was that you can't place them too close together or too tight to the wall or they won't swivel.Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. Since I bought mulitples, it paid for me to join the O Club for this purchase.

I was very excited about this piece. It is beautiful, and I can only imagine what it would have looked like had I not had to piece it back together with half a bottle of wood glue.The purchase process was very simple, and even the delivery company was very easy to deal with until I received the piece of furniture. It was my mistake for signing for it before I opened the box (but who wants to keep the delivery guy waiting while you open this gargantuan box in your tiny apartment after you just paid him $40 to lug it up 6 flights of stairs with you, and you have to rush back to work).Once I opened the box, I discovered that the bookcase was in about 4 different pieces. Luckily for me, the mirror was not broken, and I was able to glue all of the shelves back into place, as well as the piece that splintered off of the top, and the entire unit to the swivel base.A call to the delivery driver was not returned, and overstock's policy is that if you sign for it, it's yours, so OPEN the box before you sign for it. Even if you refuse the delivery, I believe you have to pay for the return shipping.Would have been a very nice bookcase had it not been broken.

After reading reviews I thought this would be a really nice item. Its alright, but nothing special and really not worth the price. It feels cheap to me, functionally it is decent. Would not purchase if I had seen it in person first.

I ordered this piece because the reviews were all favourable and because I needed both a bookshelf and a full-size mirror for my master bedroom. This piece 'killed two birds with one stone,' and I couldn't be happier with it. I read somewhere to leave it in the packaging until you know where you want to put it. I agree totally which that suggestion. Because the base swivels, it's tricky to manipulate once it's unwrapped. I loved that there was no assembly required. Also, it came packaged extremely well, so there was no damage. It's actually a piece of furniture, too. It's made of wood, not pressed board. The finish is extremely dark-- almost black-- which works well with my room. Love it.

These bookshelves came already assembled and simply came out ot the box and where good to go. THey function perfectly and are a great addition to the room. Love them!

The swivel bookcase mirror is a quality piece of furniture. It is constructed of what appears to be solid wood. The shelves hold many books and the mirror is the perfect size. It's a great piece of furniture if you live in a tight space and can benefit from having two pieces of furniture in one. The only complaint I had is that the first bookcase that was sent to me was completely beat up, dented, and scratched. Overstock took great care of this issue and sent me a new bookcase immediately from a different shipper. The second one arrived packaged very well as compared to the first one and they paid to send the first one back. A piece of advice that I read from another review: Before taking the bookcase out of the package, move it to where you want it placed in your home. The bookcase is hard to move without the bookcase turning on it's base once it's out of the package, and it is pretty heavy (88lbs). Overall, I would definitely recommend this piece.

I ordered the Swivel Bookcase Mirror back in April. When the item was delivered it was broken, so I did not accept delivery of the item. I immediately contacted Overstock and told them what happened. Unfortunately, the item was no longer in stock, so I had to get a refund. Once the item was back in stock, I reordered it and it was delivered in about a week in perfect condition. I just love this item. It is a very unique multi-purpose piece, that does not take up a lot of room. This was my first time ordering from Overstock, and I must say I am very satisfied with the item and the customer service I received. Thanks!

I searched for a full-length mirror with shelves for a small space in my home. Along with other items with mirrored doors that opened to shelves, up came your product offer of the Swivel Bookcase Mirror. Perfect! It fills the dining room corner, reflecting light and easily, smoothly swiveling for review of our outfits! And the shelves hold my shoes! No more bottom of the closet hunting in poor light. Selection of my shoes is now accomplished standing up with good lighting and plenty of space to group types of shoes together. Every bedroom would benefit in a larger home! However, this one unit is absolutely meeting our needs. It came assembled and needs two people to get it upright and in place. Worth it!

We purchased it for our guest room & are very pleased. It's nice how it works for our books and has a full length mirror! PLUS, IT COMES FULLY ASSEMBLED!!!! THAT FOR US, WAS A HUGE PURCHASING FACTOR!!!!

I love my mirror / bookshelf unit. It is made well and very functional. Unfortunately for me, something broke through the packaging during shpping, and chipped a piece of the wood out. It was too large for me to repackage to ship back and I really like it, so I will deal with it.

I have to say that this was quiet depressing. The bookcase arrived cracked in several places in the wood. Another product I purchased (same material, color, etc.) to match it also came with a crack, but I decided to just keep it. But the swivel, however, was in three places! Worse than that, though, it didn't swivel! I had to hire someone to come take a look at it and it turns out all the ball bearings fell out and couldn't be put back in. I am now in the process of having to return it, and hope I can get one worthy of my past experiences with Overstock. The highlight, however, was that it came fully assembled, so that I could see how it would look once it's up and running.

The case arrived in one piece and that was great. It was packaged well, the mirror wasn't broken and it swiveled smoothly. But the workmanship leaves a bit to be desired. Two corners don't match up well and one is very obvious. I didn't send it back because it is on the bottom and the other isn't as noticeable and with a little brown shoe polish I figure I can cover it up where the wood is natural.

This piece is great! Great quality. Came with a little crack on top but barely noticeable. Make sure you can get it into your house, it's heavy. Great bookshelf. Looks great in my office.
