Just what I was looking for
Perfect for my long narrow windows that are too close to the side walls. Product was just as described and arrived quickly. When you hang the rod I suggest that you mount the bracket a little crooked to compensate for the weight of the curtain pulling the unsupported end of the rod down. Although my curtains were not heavy, the unsupported end drooped just enough to cause the curtain to hang crooked and drag the floor. I took it down and remounted the bracket at a slight angle and it was perfect.

Just what I needed.
I needed a curtain for a door that opened onto a side porch so that I could let light in with out opening the door. This was the perfect answer. Curtain swings open letting light into the room. Due to the weight of the curtain I tapped a nail into the door to hold the top rod up so that it wouldn't be weighted down. I am sure a sheer would not have this problem. Would definitely recommend this rod for door or window.

Good Product
I have ordered 2 of these items . The boxes that were used to ship items were crushed,torn,opened and had been taped. However, packaging by manufacture of the items is what save the items from any damage that were inside each box. Don't know items boxes shipped in this condition or were damaged by shipper.

There are 2!
From the product title, it sounded like this item is a single rod. It's not! There are 2 in the package (The contents of the package are shown, but it's not intuitive; it's also in the description that there are 2). I ended up overbuying this product and sending some back, but I like it. I bought the nickel, because I wasn't sure on the other colors, and I wanted something more neutral. Though, in the picture, the brown is marble-y and doesn't look smooth, the nickel is very smooth and is a beautiful set with simple details. The instructions were relatively easy to follow (though it would have been useful for them to include a recommended drill bit size instead of having to eyeball it), and my curtains look lovely. I wish I had read all the reviews before, because I, too, would have hung the rod at a slight angle to prevent the weight of the curtain making it a bit crooked, but it's not enough for anyone to really notice.

Product is perfect for curtains that need to be swung out of normal position such as opening and closing windows.

Swing Arm
It depends on where you are going to use these rods. I have seen people put them on a wall to divide a room and that might work just fine. I ordered them to put on trim around my patio door and due to the type of trim I have, you could only use two out of the four screws to secure them to the trim. They are secure, however, if you are using a heavier curtain, the weight pulls them down a bit. Neat concept, but wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. They are not deep enough to secure on the wall over the trim around the door.
