Just what I was looking for
Perfect for my long narrow windows that are too close to the side walls. Product was just as described and arrived quickly. When you hang the rod I suggest that you mount the bracket a little crooked to compensate for the weight of the curtain pulling the unsupported end of the rod down. Although my curtains were not heavy, the unsupported end drooped just enough to cause the curtain to hang crooked and drag the floor. I took it down and remounted the bracket at a slight angle and it was perfect.

Just what I needed.
I needed a curtain for a door that opened onto a side porch so that I could let light in with out opening the door. This was the perfect answer. Curtain swings open letting light into the room. Due to the weight of the curtain I tapped a nail into the door to hold the top rod up so that it wouldn't be weighted down. I am sure a sheer would not have this problem. Would definitely recommend this rod for door or window.

Tried them and I liked them !
It is nice to open the rods and get a full view of the outdoors. Rods were easy to install. The outter box was torn in a few places, so I made sure there was no damage to the rods before I opened the plastic. Turned out they were fine and as always, I am happy with Overstock's order and delivery time.

Quick delivery; accurate product information; easy installation; works very well for short windows, near full extension should be supported, as tends to droop on unsupported end. Easy purchase on line, however, found at less than half the price in local store after installation!

Adequate construction, disappointing finish
I ordered the antique gold, and was disappointed to find that "antique gold" meant "gold paint sloppily brushed over black finish". Worst on the brackets, but at least most of the metal is covered by the curtains. I also had some issues with the threaded balls on either end of the rod, since the internal threads had been painted as well. Once installed, the arms seem very sturdy though.

Easy install and good quality
My handyman installed these since the install was beyond my reach. Easy to install. Best if screwed into wood. He had to slightly bend the rods upward to prevent sagging when closed, even with fairly lightweight drapes. I think heavy drapes would be a bit of an issue on them, but I have them extended to the max they go. I am happy with them and see they are on sale today. Worth the investment.
