Very nice looking chairs. comfy too. I bought six of these and they are very easy to assemble. The plastic material used to cover the seats is very difficult to remove. I had to remove the seat base from the frame to get the job done properly. While doing this I found that a few of the screws holding the base to the frame were stripped out so I put them in different spots where this was a problem. Been using the chairs for several weeks now and they seem very solid.

The chairs came in one week from the day I ordered them. They were well packed and arrived without damage. The six chairs are well constructed and very comfortable. (The color of the stain is darker than it shows in the picture.) They came partly assembled but took only 15 minutes to complete the assembly for each chair. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Chairs are excellant quality and look great. They are very sturdy and so simple to put together. Two chairs were a little off balance and overstock immediately replaced them.

These are excellent as occasional chairs in the living room. and provide great dining room seating as well. Very sturdy, easy to assemble and provide a very high-end look. As usual shipping was fast. I have never been disappointed with a furniture purchase from Overstock. Had I been able to find these elsewhere I'm sure I would have paid much, much more.

I wrote a very long detailed review. I submitted it, was asked for my password AGAIN, and the review vanished! Not about to write it all over again. Very poorly made chairs.

These chairs were excellent for the price. They looked beautiful when we got them. There was a small nick in the chair leg on 1 of the 6 chairs - it was so tiny and no one could see- we just covered it with stain. They are comfortable and matched my table perfectly. 5 of the 6 chairs were very easy to assemble, one chair did give us problems - we had to take all screws out and try again- it was hard to turn 2 screws in - but not impossible - in the end - it was well worth it!!!!!!!!

I ordered 4 at first and then ordered an additional two. easy to assemble and looking forward to having them for a really long time. In an addition the covers match my couches too!! I ordered two sets of these chairs to go with my cherry dining table. Based on other reviews, I ordered these chairs despite the light color in the picture. They are a perfect match for my cherry table. Easy to assemble and so far seem very sturdy. I am very pleased with this purchase.

These chairs arrived sooner than expected (3-days from Illinois to PA in the midst of a blizzard) and were in excellent condition. My only critical comment is about the veneer. I knew the chairs were poplar hardwood with a cherry veneer when I ordered them, and I was a little concerned for the longevity of the veneer. The butt joints of the veneer are visible on the backs of some of the chairs. It is a minor complaint and if the chairs hold up over time, I will have no complaints. They look beautiful and seem to be very sturdy. I was suprised at the weight of each chair...significantly more than the old chairs I am replacing. I would definitely order these again. In fact, if they ever offer matching arm chairs, I will order two to go with the 12 side chairs I just bought.

The chairs look very nice, but 2 out of 4 had imperfections on them. I had to restain those areas, but didn't hold the stain. One chair the holes did not line up for the screws & it had to be re-drilled. All inall they look as good as can be expected for their price. I only paid $*** for 4.

I purchased 4 of these chairs about 2 weeks ago. They arrived in 3 days. The packaging was good, but one chair back was damaged. I received a replacement part in another 3 days with no hassles from customer service. Great! The color is darker than shown in the picture so they match my cherry dining table perfectly. They were fairly easy to assemble, taking approximately 20 minutes each. No written instructions, just pictures. The chairs have a good weight to them and the seats are roomy. The seat cushions are somewhat hard, but they are still comfortable. Fabulous quality for the money. This was my first purchase from Overstock and I was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely love these chairs!

I bought 6 of these chairs and I am extremely happy with them! I got them in a timely manner and the boxes came intact, no damage. My husband had no problem with putting them together. They are heavy sturdy chairs, very much worth the price. My only complaint is the color, in my opinion, much darker than the actual picture and I knew that from the other reviews. They don't match my current dining set exactly, but they are to nice too send back. My dining set is well over 50 years old so I don't think I'll find anything to match exactly:)

Nice looking chairs but a little darker than we thought. Easy to assemble and arrived in good shape. We bought a couple more after we saw the first few to complete our dining room set. The seats were a little hard at first but seem to be getting softer. Overall a good buy.

We read reviews before we bought new chairs. They helped us pick these. It was true that the color was darker (true cherry) than the picture, just what we wanted. The chairs were easy to put together. Two of us put 8 chairs together in less than 2 hours. And the tip to have someone sit on them to finish tightening the screws so they don't wobble was excellent. The chairs look great, feel great, not too heavy, and were a good price. We left the plastic on the seats for the first dinner party and may just keep it on for a while. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Loved the first 4 so much I purchased 2 more. Arrived on time, in excellent condition, and match perfectly. As someone else mentioned they are a little darker than pictured. Very pleased.

The chairs are easy to assemble, stable and fairly comfortable. Only negative point is the cushion is harder than it looks.

I ordered 4 chairs which came in 2 boxes. One box and chair was damaged from shipment but Overstock.com did an outstanding job with communication and replacing the damaged order with a new order. These chairs are darker than the picture indicates but still go well with the small breakfast table. The assembly of the chairs is fairly easy just make sure you use the 4 short screws on the front legs and the 4 longer screws on the chair backing/rear legs.

Chairs arrived promptly and were easy to assemble. Be aware, they are MUCH darker than they appear in the picture.
