I am satisfied with the operation of this unit. It runs very quietly, and I could see/smell a difference in the air after just a couple days. I am using it in my basement, which is a pretty big area, and the unit runs continuously. It has made a difference, and I would recommend this product.

The first one I received rattled on all speeds. The 2nd one whisles on all speeds. I'm going to give this one a few days to see if it stops. If not, I am returning for a full credit and getting a different brand. Its unfortunate, since its the perfect size for the bedroom.

very compact and efficient. Used in "the smoking room" in my home and is doing a great job. I would definely purchase anothr one if necessary. Filling and shipping the order was very timely and cme assenbled which is a bonus!!

I've had it for a couple weeks. I don't use it constantly, just when I'm hanging out in my room. Works quiet and the room smells clean after. I have 2 cats and despite constant cleaning of my room and the litter I feel like I can always smell the cat smell. But this helps my room smell fresh and cat free, which I like :) And It's compact enough that doesn't look strange. I'm happy!

My 2 toddlers have been coughing for the past few weeks, and we believe they are allergies. Once I turn this poduct on, they literally stop coughing especially at night. I am having a bit of a problem with the fan being too loud, but I think I should be resolving this soon. It sounds like the fan is hitting something in the inside. Other than that, we love this air purifier.

this is my first air cleaner and I bought it because I smoke. It clears the air great, and has several speeds as well as a timer and it is very easy to clean. The only drawback is that on high it is a bit noisey.

I Purchased this Air Purifier at Overstock.com, and I am very pleased with it, my only concern is it does not seem to blow very hard compared to my old Honeywell unit, but it does produce a better smell with the sanitizer, ionizer and UV light. All things considered I like this Multi-Tech XJ-3000C Air Purifier. For the money it offers a lot of features The only thing I regret is buying the extended warranty, since it is already covered for three years from the manufacturer, which I didn't know from buying it on overstock.com, I will be more vigilant next time I buy anything from this site.

The air purifier works well. It eliminates smoke odor which is why I purchased the unit. Three spead settings is perfect. However, at first when it ran it was near silent. Now after 3 weeks of use you can hear it running. I don't know why it started making the louder run noise. Other than hearing the unit run from across the room the unit still works well.

This item is exactly as pictured except the color is not light beige as pictured. It is more of a faded gray/off-white type hue, which worked perfectly for my needs. I needed this for a 12ft X 14ft office area. The unit clears the air quickly and silently, and the color matches my wood trimmings perfectly. I am also pleased that it operates from the floor. We bought one air purifier for living/dining area and immediately you could tell the difference. We are both smokers and it took the odors away! Were so pleased that we purchased one for the bedroom. Believe it or not my husband snores less, breathes easier, and does not cough in the morning! I would definitely recommend this product. A better value than the Oreck and others that I checked on.

I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and did I need a "true" air purifier. This is a great value, does not take up much space and is "EXTREMELY" quiet. It does have the hepa filter and does a great job of cleaning and sanatized the air to a clean crisp smell. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants "fresh air" in their life.

I had the wrong shipping address, my fault. However, I contacted UPS and Overstock and Overstock made attempts to correct, however, UPS made it difficult so ... the item was delivered to the wrong address and whoever lived there apparently is enjoying or has sold this item so I have no idea how it performs. Sucks to put the wrong address and UPS needs to be more helpful in correcting something like this before it's delivered.
