Thank you for your inquiry. Instead of turning it upside down, if we just turn it around they will match. I think I understand your question if one is upside down the handles will not match but if we mirror the item and turn it around the handles will. Also the male latch can be reversed so the unit can exactly mirror its counterpart. Hope this helps !
