It seems to me that not too many things would be very helpful in keeping a slip cover in place. However, these do help somewhat. I still have to constantly straighten out the slip cover but it's better than having nothing there in the first place. Without them, the slip cover would be a real mess all the time!

If you've purchased slipcovers this product is an absolute MUST HAVE. If put in correctly it really does prevent the slipcovers from shifting. They really should advertise it along with the slipcovers, there would be less complaints about the excess material as well as the constant need for readjusting. Now I can really enjoy my gorgeous slipcovers.:-)
Totally a GREAT purchase. I bought the slip covers about 2 months ago and was so sick of fixing them everytime we sat on the couch. These grips are amazing, they took 2 seconds to put in and I haven't had to fix the cover since. Very good for the money.....

I used to have to re-tuck every single day the stretchy love seat cover that I had bought for our outdated love seat. Every time my husband sat on it, it would un-tuck. In desperation, I finally bought this product. Two weeks ago, I installed it, (using only my two hands). It was very easy to install. As far as I'm concerned, the TuckOnce has already paid for itself. I have not had to re-tuck yet, and this is with my husband sitting on the couch daily and my son sleeping on it at least once (Both are over six feet tall). I'm thrilled with the time savings I have realized in only two weeks' time! It may sound expensive initially, but if you consider the frustration and messiness of an un-tucked cover that are alleviated with the use of this product, it is soooo worth it!

The grips work surprisingly well. It would be better if they were cheaper, but overall I think that they do what they were advertized to do. In fact, even though I got the wrong size (love seat vs. couch), they still hold the slipcovers in place. My teenager even says so.
BTW: In addition to the teen, the dog, and my hubby also use the couch so the grips do get a real workout.

Despite what I believe to be a high price on this simple item, I am delighted with the results. I had been adjusting covers on a daily basis - but now it's a monthly tidying job and with a young family about, that is, in my opinion, a great result.

These are awesome. No more retucking slipcovers a dozen times a day. Need to retuck about once a week, and I am sure if I had looser slip covers (I have stretch fit) I wouldn't be retucking at all. Only thing I had an issue with is the "duck bill" tool referenced in the instructions but never mentioned anywhere in the description prior to purchase, and not included. These can be installed without the tool, but I think it would be a lot easier to fit around tight cushions so the grips stay in the right position better.

reasonable way to get a new look. Need to purchase the tuck once slip cover holders that slide into the sides. They really hold the cover in place. Must sturdier that I thought the material would be. Great value, three times as much on Surefit websight.

I used to retuck once or twice a week (and wish I had time to do it more often). These grips really make the slip cover stay in place! That's also with repeated sitting and jumping (by my toddler)! They are a bit pricey, but worth my time!

These don't eliminate having to fix your sofa covers, but they help a lot - I went from having to fix my covers daily to about once about a week - for me that's a lot, especially with my dogs around. And having these has opened up my options from fitted covers to other varieties. I'd definately recommend these...
