This is the same review I wrote for the sofa cover. I ordered these slipcovers for both my sofa and loveseat, one week before a New Year's Eve party at my house. I paid extra for 5 day delivery, and it came in 3 days. I was thrilled to see they were durably made, and with excellent conceptual design. I have never used slipcovers before (other than as a kid when we had those big square fringed furniture covers that you just threw over the couch and had to keep tucking in all the time). Putting it on was a snap, using the little sewn-in tags in center front & back as reference points. I had both pieces of furniture all finished, with cushions zipped up, everything tucked in and ready to go in less than 20 minutes, and that included vacuuming the sofa before I put it on.
I have 2 cushions on the loveseat (and 3 on the sofa), and with a little encouragement they fit nice & snug inside the single cushion cover. The piping on the edges of the pillow slipcover makes it look custom. Understanding that not all couches are shaped exactly alike, it would be impossible for everyone to be thrilled with the fit, but if you have a sofa roughly the same same as that pictured, with bolstered armrests (10" wide in the front) and square or oblong (not T-shaped) cushions (6" thick, 23 or 24" deep), you will be more than happy with these covers.
The fabric is extremely smooth and velvety to the touch, and oh so comfortable. Hair and lint seems to brush off easily. The color is a bit darker than pictured (it depends what angle you view it on your computer monitor), and I thought it looked a bit drab at first (since I was covering a green-checked country print), but it took no time at all for me to warm up to it and when I dressed it up with pillows it looked fabulous. It's loose enough to look comfy & casual, but tailored enough to look tidy & fitted. I had been looking for a new, sorely needed sofa and loveseat but wasn't quite ready to dish out $1800 so these covers saved me quite a bit of money for now and they were a tremendous value at the price offered.
Right after I put them on, my husband walked in then stopped in amazement and said "Holy Cow! I can't believe you found something that fit!". During my party two people came up to me and wanted to order the same for their couches at home; one of them thought I had purchased brand new furniture, the other just got a quote of $1700 to reupholster the ones she had now. Both were excited to get the link to the website.
The only downside is that, yes, it's true it will land up short in the back! My sofa is just about 39" at its highest point in back, so I expected it to be short 3" since it is advertised for sofas up to 36" tall. The slipcover for the sofa turned out 10" short in the center back; the loveseat was 7" short. Not being a straight-backed sofa, the cover tapered to 4" short in the back on the far left and right sides. Again, no heartache if it's against the wall. My sofa is actually in the middle of the room so I just pushed a sideboard cabinet up behind it with a big potted plant on either side and it covered up the short areas nicely. I don't like high maintenance furniture, but In a week I think I've had to make a little tuck here or there only about 3 times, and that's with guests, teenagers, and big sleepy husband flopped down on it in the past 7 days. I couldn't be happier with this product.
