I orderd the green but the color isn't a pleasant green as shown. It is a grayish, silvery, washed out green, with no life to it. The fabric is so thin that you could see my original chair fabric right through it. The fabric is old-fashioned formal and velvety, and had permanent, unsightly fold marks (crushes in the velour) from having been pressed in the packaging so long. Hope this helps you to avoid the return charges I incurred! What a waste! Never taking a chance again!
I was not expecting the transformation this cover gave to my chair. I was so impressed. I had actually thought of getting rid of the chair or getting it reupholstered because it is a quality chair. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

This is a good concept but unless the arms on your chair are large and extend all the way out as far as the seat, the material is going to be sagging at the arms.

Chose the stretch stripe in sage and found when it arrived to be a little washed out looking because the chairs sit under a window. I wanted something more vibrant. Anyway, the fabric was nice and there was lots of it to tuck.. My chair was quite small in comparison.
I bought two sets of this slipcover for matching wing chairs. I was delighted with the ease of installation, especially the Velcro tabs that tightened the cover at the bottom. The feel of the material is soft and wonderful. My son thought we had bought new chairs.
the material is sofy and does not get nmessed up, even after a party with 25 people. Several at first thought I had a new chair.
I ordered six sets of slipcovers and finally got what I want. the sage is a very soft pale silvery green. The fabric is nice and the stripes are not too "slipcover". My chairs are not too big, so I have to do some tucking to get a smooth look. The Sure fit slipcovers have velcro to secure the bottom and they are the best!
I love the look of this slipcover and the stretch of it. The only problem is after you sit in the chair, the slipcover moves around and you have to re-tuck and re-arrange it after you get up. If you don't ever sit in the chair and just keep it for the look of the room, it is perfect!
The slipcovers look beautiful. Although not easy for me to cover, the wing chair was not as difficult to do as the sofa. I had a tough time covering my 9-foot over-stuffed castro convertible sofa by myself . The point is that these slipcovers are a wonderful value because they are as close as you can get to custom made. The material stretches to fit and once you get it right, it stays there.
The covers look great. They were a little big for our chairs but the excess fit easily down the sides of the cushion and still gave a neat appearance. The fabric is easily wiped off although I have not machine washed them yet. The color and fabric are true to the explanation. Delivery and packaging were not a problem.
This was my first Overstock.com purchase, and I admit that I was kind of hesitant. When my Sure Fit Slip Furniture Covers arrived I was amazed at the quality of the fabric! After putting the cover on my Wing Tip chair, I liked the slip cover - then I read the directions and made the adjustments needed. Then I fell in love with the slip cover. I bought the blue stripe and my furniture looked so good that I had to replace my drapes and sheers, plus cover my sofa and love seat. My living room looks just fabulous now.
I was rather pleased with the slipcover. The color was a soft blue and the material very nice to the touch. Also, I like that it hugs the chair and does not have all the skirting. One has to look twice to know its a slipcover. Since my wingback was a smaller size chair there was more tucking than if I had a full size chair. After the extra tucking, the chair now looks almost new. This was an inexpensive way to repurpose and be able to live with an older piece of funiture that may other wise be consigned to the trash.
These slipcovers (I bought 2, in the blue) are gorgeous, and have completely changed the look of my very comfortable but aggressively ugly wingback chairs. They're very easy to put on, and I haven't needed to adjust them yet. They're also tougher than they look--I have a new cat who scratches furniture and sheds onto upholstery almost simultaneously, and these still look brand new! If you've got ugly wingbacks, this slipcover's your answer.
