Sure Fit Stretch Greek Key Chair Slipcover

I read such good reviews about these slipcovers - ordered a set for chair, sofa and loveseat. I really like the pattern/material - it's so nice, but was extremely disappointed with the fit and will be sending them all back. My furniture falls right in the middle range on most typical measurement charts - not as small as apartment-size styles, not as big as the 90" sofas . I also have cushiony "pillow" style arms which are a very common style these days. These "stretch-style" covers were way too big and didn't fit the arms right at all. They seemed to be designed for more structured, firmer, rounder arms. I followed the instructions to the letter, but no matter how I tucked and folded, it looked really bad. My cheap black sheet I had on there before was a better fit and look than these. It would be so helpful if companies specified that these do not fit pillow arm style furniture - there was nothing written about this in the description or on the package. I only found out about this whole issue by Googling "why won't my slipcovers fit" and finding articles that addressed this.

I have used the Sure-fit slipcovers before and expected something much nicer than what arrived. The material feels thin and cheap and the elastic is very obvious at the bottom of this. My chair arms are curved just like in the picture, but the slipcover spans across the curve like a trampoline, so you lose the shape of the chair beneath it. I ordered the cream color and what arrived I would call beige at best- it is much, much darker than what is picured.
