Sure Fit Colette Wing Chair Slipcover in Cocoa

Slipcover much too big for my chair...even after spending time to tuck it in properly, it would never look like the picture...I wanted it to work...Returning it.

I had to return this item. This was a great price for a well made slipcover, however my chair has arms that are curved back in. Would have required too much adjustment and the need to always adjust after someone sat in it. I ended up making a custom slip cover.

I was really hoping this would work better. I picked up an older wing chair that was reupholstered few years ago, but had some minor tears and dry paint stains. Mostly on the back, and the way I plan on using the chair, it can stay in the state it is for a few years - I put it in my boys room, so I don't need it spotless - it certainly won't be one the little fingers smear jello on it. Unfortunately, the slipcover is not what I expected. The color looks dull, and the texture reminds me of potato sack. The picture shows a smooth fabric, the product has a weave - it almost looks cheap, tho it's sewn pretty nicely, piping looks good too. It's also impossibly wrinkled - I have no idea how to deal with the skirt - do't think it can be ironed easily. I also noticed it looks like the sides are too short and pull up, showing the fabric underneath. Was not able to readjust the slipcover, tho my wing chair seems to be an average one. I was not expecting too much, but the color, texture and fit are just not working for me. I think I'll have to return it.

It fits like a glove and wouldn't know it's a slipcover except for the back where it ties. The skirt is flirty giving a fun look to a stuffy chair. The chair was a find on the side of the road, painted the legs shiny red; looks like a new chair.
